Worst part about it isn't the doors, it's the fact that they made a robot do stretches before running like it has human muscles 💀

Gauss is only used for AOE Thermal Sunder. Running? you will hit pillars, walls, doors most of the time. My Gauss is the slowest Frame as I hit Thermal Sunder after hitting a wall a few times. :P

They should give gauss an augment that lets him break thru doors that are closed, temporarily destroying them or something just to fixe this issue

They should have added a time slow effect when gauss stops with 1st ability that would be so cool like seeing stuffs blowing in slowmo

legit think that DE should smooth over 80% of the geometry in levels, if they can do it without severely affecting the visual models. It's just so annoying to have a random farkles and filigree break your flow.

theres a reason smacking walls does damage

I have the same issues with zephyr other then when running and I catch a slight decline in elevation zephyr floats and rams into the top of the door until it opens

I put everything in them that I can explore with a nearly empty inventory. So I can build anything wherever I am. Of course it means having more than a dozen of them. I have them right at mining nodes and with extras going into Awesome Sink. Especially with the oil wells, because when manufacturing stops I have to go there and build a biogenerator to prime the oil and fuel lines to get the fuel generator going again. It's a spot with six oil wells that's across the map, so haven't run power line to connect to the rest of my network, yet. But I mostly use them to keep my inventory free, makes room for collecting alien DNA to trade for Awesome Shop coupons.

This is exactly why I prefer volt over Gauss since doors open in time and I can play passively or aggressively.

Reminds me of a recent moment I (gauss) was built for a little extra movement speed. Was a little too much, then Volt joined. The way the screen warps and a wall just appears is stunning.

So they need to make a transition buffer between objects and you. Might I suggest a parkour phase. For example, either adding animation to either phase through. Jump over or move around objects. Or add a waiting animation for places like doors that represent how long it takes to open (acting sleepy, looking at clock, impatiently waiting) Then give. A minor Boost in speed to regain his speed
