@@guernseygirl6608 the pool was ok, we didn’t use it to be honest as the beach and sea were our focus. It was clean & tidy during our stay and usually had only a few people in/around it.

@@guernseygirl6608 definitely worth considering it as a top contender when staying in Koh Chang. It’s ideally located and walking out on to the beach is great. Restaurant was good too. Next time we go, we’ll most likely going back - and 100% for a villa again.

Thank you for the comment. Yes, we found it a great place for a stay with a group of family/friends as an alternative to a typical hotel.

Starting with the transfers, we booked the airport to hotel transfer via booking.com (approx €75) for a minivan. On our return we booked through the hotel though, it was slightly more expensive at €85 but we wanted the confidence of the hotel arranging it. Food: We only ever planned to eat breakfast at the hotel as wanted to eat out whilst there. There is a good cafe directly opposite the hotel for lunch and lots of restaurants on every street - you will be spoiled for choice honestly. The hotel were able to give specific suggestions based on your likes/wants/requirements too. We prepaid for the Vatican tickets because it’s in such demand and queues for on the day tickets were crazy - we used a ‘Get your guide’ company for those. For the Pantheon, we booked on their own site directly. Didn’t go into the colosseum tbh, we just walked around the outside. But easily got there on the metro in about 15mins, for which we got daily tickets from the vending Machines in the station - the entrance to the nearest station is only metres from the hotel too. Most main attractions are easily walking distance, we walked back from the Colossuem taking in other sites along the way. Hope that helps - have a great time 😎

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply … is was a rare occasion where someone booked the hotel for us as a treat. I know they booked via Agoda and it was around 2000 Baht for the night I believe. Prices are probably totally different now as the world returns to normal 👍😎 Thanks for watching 👍👍

If you look on Agoda, the resort is ‘K.B. Resort’ on Kai Bae Beach on Koh Chang - the room type we had in the video was a garden view cottage I think (the beach view ones are just the front row right on the beach). Have a great time if you go there 😎😎👍👍

Hi, the snorkelling was the top thing we all remember about that vacation tbh; it was a fair walk out to the coral & fish (but 90% of that the water is below you ankle) - maybe a couple of hundred meters as it’s very flat until you reach the coral and then it drops off. Once in the coral & fish area, we were seeing schools of fish in waist-height water although you could go out until it was over head height also but you didn’t see more tbh. Take bread rolls from the restaurant and they’ll find you 👍😎

During our visit we understood we could, although did - other than having a walk around blue & their pool area 👍🏻

TUI (booked in the UK)

You get a wrist band each upon arrival however - at that time - we noticed different groups seemed to get different colour wristbands (the clearest difference was nationality). We - and a few others we spoke to there - noticed waiters and staff often looked at the band upon interaction with you and at times was a noticeable difference in service. Maybe different now?

We flew with TUI on a package deal; then it was only the visa we had to sort ourselves. 👍🏻

Thanks Mike, I hope you get there 🤞 We had the ‘Deluxe Suite’ on a few visits and it (like the junior, royal & duplex suites) automatically came with Club privileges - it was the ‘rooms’ (non-suites) where you had upgrade to the club if you wanted it. (annoying numerous rooms have ‘deluxe’ in the name however they are just ‘rooms’ and not a ‘suite’ - also found that booking agents can list different names completely!) - if going for this suite make sure the size is listed as 72sqm. We didn’t use the privileges as much as we could have but having the Club breakfast area was the stand out feature … walking past the breakfast restaurant the ‘others’ ate at 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching and the question 😎🙏👍🏻

Lol... there only seemed to be one camel that an old guy walked up & down the beach so assume that was Oscar - poor chap 😊 Yes, I wish I could enjoy that beach & ocean now 👍🏻😎🙏

Yeah, it was pretty easy - I’ll try and find the company for you. Booked online or via email whilst at the resort, in first few days there - as TUI weren’t providing trips to Cairo at that time (not aware if that now.

It was through www.toursfromhurghada.com. Found them great, very friendly and easy to use.

Yeah, possibly the largest resort we have been too. Possibly too big in fact, although must admit it didn’t feel too busy - the restaurant aside. The ocean is the best feature by far! 🙏 Thanks for watching
