1st gen Tacoma Archive Garage OSR Install
I wanted to show you as much of the install process as I could for this shock relocation. Next video that will be coming to the channel will be a 6 month review on the kit and how it performs on and off road.

Will this fit on a 97 Tacoma?
@@narson7434 they make them for the 97 Tacoma headlights! These are for the 01-04 since they changed the headlights but I’ve seen them built for those other style!

Look at the shocks in the rear. Those fox 2.5s only have like 3 inches of travel as the truck sits. That can't be right. You'll be smashing the shocks with 3 inches of uptravel, long before you're hitting the bump stops. You should have around 6 inches of uptravel with the lift. Those shocks must not be designed for that model
@@philiptaylor2567 they came as a packaged deal with the leaf springs from Allpro. Never had a single issue with them and they definitely allowed me to hit bump stops without restriction. I have since upgraded those with the archive garage shock relocation with 12 in smooth body shocks and it is much nicer
How do those 6112s ride? Are they jarring? How do they handle little choppy stuff like washboards?
@@philiptaylor2567 they are a good shock for the cost. They feel a little better at higher speed with washboard than slower. That’s just how they at valved. I’m waiting for new coilovers though as I’ve had these for almost 5 years

Just got a set of these for Drivers seat. I'm 6'-3" and just driving across town I can tell I should have gotten these a long time ago. I've got a 300 mile road trip coming up this month and am really looking forward to this new comfort. I tried to use your code Sir, but it didn't work for some reason

I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD pro I bought it like three months ago I have the factory 17 inch TRD rims on A/T tires 275 /70R 17 and it’s is it too and a half inches in the front and 2 inches in the back I bought some ha ha fog lights in amber and a 32 inch light bar but I didn’t install any other lights yet just bin looking on RUclips to see other trucks to get ideals I love every thing you did to your truck 👍👍👍👍👍 My uncle has a 1987 forerunner white forerunner SR5 5 speed Grey interior i’m gonna talk to him about getting that forerunner from him I kinda wish my truck was a stick shift The company who made your headlights what’s the name again I had to go back in videos They killed it when I made the headlight for your truck they killed it They are the nicest headlights I’ve ever seen 👍👍👍👍

Thank you!! I watched the install video on the TEQ Customs page first, and they missed 3 screws on the removal portion that led to me breaking the three plastic tabs where the screws mount (two around the A/C controls and the one holding the A/C vent tube). You showed all three. Wish I would have watched this first! Someone needs to get TEQ Customs to update their video! No comments are allowed on it.

Hey man! Great video! I i’m not one to fabricate my own brackets and or get involved to that level. This is a perfect option for me. I’ve got low back/hip pain and I’ve been looking for a resolution. Would you recommend I do the seat jackers with the new seat?

I have king rears and some volk te 37x 16x8 -20 think this would be an issue for my setup?

Im currently running 265/75 but am wanting to upgrade.
You would most likely need a larger wheel spacer than I do to get it to work. My tire is like 11.5 wide and sometimes those 37s can be 13 + inches wide.

Thank you! I try to just get the setting from orange to red to get the hue I like

Not seeing that bumper on the CBI website any longer. Discontinued? Not nearly as many gen 1 bumper options out there compared to later models

Not a true install video, this is the video I chose to make instead. Install is very easy though with bolt in brackets
