    The more I study God's word, the more the Lord reveals that is very important to Him to uphold the correct sabbath day. And who changed the time for worship. So I can no longer participate in sunday worship, as I will only honour the son of God. Sadly, I can not find a SDB church here in Alberta, Canada. Hope to find online services to follow instead. Thank you for sharing and blessings🙏

    The Sadducee Temple priests officiated the weekly Sabbaths and High Days at the time of Christ, who never contested their solar calendar. In 66AD the Pharisee Anti-Roman (Anti-Fasse/ANTIFA) Zealot rebels, seized control of the Temple. When contested for control, 20000 Judean 'Jewish' Edomites assisted the Zealots and murdered most of the Sadducee aristocracy, priests and hundreds of the Jerusalem populace. The ANTIFA Zealot rebels then appointed their own accursed lunar calendar high priest, who was the last to be seen standing in the Holy Place when THREE AND A HALF YEARS later, the prince of the Roman Empire arrived and desolated Jerusalem, Judea and the Jews in 70 AD - culminating in the taking of Masada another THREE AND A HALF YEARS AFTERWARDS. Most of the Christians, remembering Christ's words, escaped to Jordan between the two sieges of Jerusalem - the first siege by General Gallus who then strangely withdrew from Judea, and the second by "prince" Titus son of the new Emperor. These SEVEN YEARS are the fulfillment of Daniels prophesy. Surviving Pharisees continued to enforce their lunar calendar 'sabbaths and high days' in the Synagogues, which they controlled - hiding the Sadducee Temple calendar from the people. Constantine managed to establish the Resurrection day as Sunday in 30 AD on their Julian calendar, which actually overlapped the Biblical weekly Sabbath THAT year. Unable to establish the Biblical calendar, Constantine changed Sunday to the first day of his new Roman week, in honour of the Resurrection. Later Constantine's son Constantius ll, knowing the Pharisee's lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar to be Babylonian and Canaanite, forbade them from signaling the start of their lunar months across the Empire from Jerusalem. As a concequence, Hillel ll was forced to choose a Roman day for their weekly 'sabbath', and he chose Saturday - the seventh day of Constantine's NEW Roman week. The rest of their lunar calendar they kept by Rabbinical calculation. Thus the true Biblical Temple calendar was lost until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scroll's. The Dead Sea Scroll's solar calendar, corrected to the Sadducee 19th Abib Omer Wave Sheaf, is the correct Biblical calendar, revealing the weekly Sabbaths and High Days - which is why the Zionist State of Israel suppressed them for 40 years before they were leaked out on micro fish copies. Saturday was only chosen as the Jewish 'sabbath' by Heliel II about 300 years after Christ. He standadised the Jewish calendar. Even before that, the weekly 'sabbath' they kept was the Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' that the Pharisees introduced and enforced in the Synagogues, after the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. The true weekly Sabbath was already hidden by the Pharisees in favour of the Babylonian lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar. Knowing this, Constantine's son forbade them from signaling their pagan lunar calendar observations across the Roman Empire. However Constantine himself was unable to determine the true Biblical weekly Sabbath, but he was able to determine that Christ was resurrected in that year on the Roman solar calendars "Sunday". Therefore, in honour of the resurrection he changed Sunday to the first day of his NEW Roman week, and also made Sunday the day of rest. Without Roman authority to signal their Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' across the empire, Hillel II and other anti-Christ Jews were forced to choose a Roman weekday as their "new sabbath" and he chose the seventh day of Constantine's new Roman week - i.e. "Saturday" ! Rabbi 'Sages' don't tell you all this and most Rabbis don't even know this themselves ! Karaite Jews today still keep the Babylonial lunar calendar and many Christians have been seduced into doing the same. Jericho was an ancient lunar calendar observation city dedicated to and named after their moon god. The Bible called Jericho the "accursed city" and Joshua was commanded to totally destroy it and its inhabitants after marching around it once for six consecutive days, and seven times on the seventh day - i.e. 13 times in total ! I think that, as opposed to the Second Advent and the "Marriage of the Lamb" that nobody knows when, the preceding "great and dreadful day of the Lord" can actually be established as the 20th March 2031. The world will feel that ominous consuming fire approaching and will run around trying to hide, while Christians enter into their inner prayer "chambers". When the Christians come out, there will be no OTHER flesh and blood survivers - who will be burnt up and trodden "as ash under their feet." They will mourn for their friends and relatives who weren't "saved", but SOMETIME afterwards will witness the return of Christ coming from east to west. Raising their eyes they will be transformed in an instant, allowing them to rise up and meet His RETURN. Thereafter, they will be consoled when He "wipes the tears" from their eyes and takes care of them like as "calves of the stall". That's how I perceive these future Biblical events. Don't the dead in Christ rise "first" - a great multitude ? Then those living Christians that are "left" come safely out of their prayer chambers - AFTER the "wrath", to "tread upon the ashes of the wicked who have been removed from the earth" - "The righteous shall NEVER be removed but the wicked shall be cut off". These "saved" righteous remnant "lift up their eyes", and are then "changed in the twinkling of an eye", and able to rise up and meet Christ returning with this great host..... The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text. Both are flawed: The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day. So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was also made near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031.

    You are totally correct. People, Christians, are failing to see that God as the Supreme Ruler has given us His Supreme Laws ( a ruler has to have laws). And because God cannot change, His laws cannot change. God has basically one law, The Law Of Love,.Jesus came and showed us that it is. He summed it all up to love for God, tablet 1, Commandments 1-4 and love for each other on tablet 2, Commandments 5-10. Like breaking the speed limit, you break the law governing speed but the speed limit law is a subsection of The Traffic Laws. You then break The Traffic Law. When one breaks one of the Ten Commandments you break The Law of Love, (the Ten Commandments), it comes as a whole written on two pages, tablets, and further subdivided into ten. Satan only needs us to break one, to have us rejecting the authority of God. Don't be deceived

    If you nd your churxh truly believe that the sabbath keeping has any ties to the soteriology, then I wouldn't have problem with the sdb. However, there is nothing anywhere in the Bible that states that Jesus kept the sabbath. It however does say that he was at the synagogue as the custom dictates.. and remember, the term "custom" stems from ancient greek term edo which is not a God made law nor even a man made law.

    This man has a literal understanding or belief concerning the Sabbath and the Sabbath is no longer a literal commandment ; the scriptures says concerning the Sabbath day to keep ut Holy but during that time in order to please God it was according to works the Hebrew nation the Jews had no spiritual entity or where withal in order to continue to please God by keeping the Sabbath so now because of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ Jesus Christ is now our Sabbath we are to rest in Jesus spiritually not literally by going to church on a certain day This teacher on this platform has to be born of the spirit in order to understand the change the God made concerning the Mosaic law Hebrews 8:13 “In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” Those that are under the law are under the curse if a man believes in the Old Testament he will also live by them this type of Christianity is in error of the truth. And any one that is not truly born again cannot see the kingdom of God Amen 🙏!

      Hebrews 8:13 is speaking of the ceremonial law fading away. To a certain extent there was a changing of the guards from the time of Christ’s death and resurrection until the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD. This after all is the entire thrust of the book of Hebrews- Jesus is better than Old Testament (ceremonial) law. There was a warning to first century Christians to not go back to the temple and return to these old practices or they would literally be destroyed when the Romans hemmed them in from every side and destroyed the temple and the city. Some would argue that none of God’s law has been abrogated, in fact Calvin uses the term transposed for the ceremonial law. After all there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. So the question is what part of ‘sabbath’ keeping is ceremonial law and has been transposed to heavenly places, and what part of sabbath keeping is moral law that has been written on the heart of man at creation? Can we find any Sabbath keeping prior to the giving of the 10 commandment in Exodus 20?

    • @Charles73358
      @Charles73358 Год назад

      @gummo15 Whether ceremonial or moral the Bible says that Christ abolished in his flesh the enmity thereby . Ephesians 2:15-17 King James Version 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Everything that the Mosaic law entailed was carnal 100 percent carnal . Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is known as the holiest day of the Jewish year. Leading up to and on that day, Jews traditionally ask for forgiveness for our wrongdoings from God and from our fellow human beings. The scapegoat was a goat that was designated (Hebrew: לַעֲזָאזֵֽל) la-'aza'zeyl; "for absolute removal" (for symbolic removal of the people's sins with the literal removal of the goat), and outcast in the desert as part of the Yom Kippur Temple service, that began during the Exodus with the original Tabernacle All of these things that were administered by the High priest are carnal and those that still practice this tradition will be denied entrance into the New Jerusalem the Holy city for the Bible says that the carnal mind is enmity against God and it is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be . Jesus Christ is our priest forever after the order of Melchisedec everything is in Jesus for he became sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in him Amen 🙏!

      The distinction between the Ten Commandments and the other laws of Moses lies in their origin, purpose, nature, inscription, significance in Christianilty, location in the sanctuary: 1. Origin: - Ten Commandments: Also known as the Decalogue, these were given directly by God to Moses on Mount Sinai and were inscribed on two stone tablets by God himself. (Exodus 20:1-17; Deuteronomy 5:4-21,10:1-4). - Other Laws of Moses: These include the ceremonial, civil, and moral laws that God gave to the Israelites through Moses, detailed primarily in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. 2. Purpose: - Ten Commandments: These are fundamental moral principles intended to guide the ethical and spiritual conduct of all people. They are seen as universal and timeless. (Matthew 5:17-48) - Other Laws of Moses: These laws include detailed regulations for worship (ceremonial laws), guidelines for social justice and community living (civil laws), and additional moral directives. They were specifically given to the nation of Israel to govern their religious, social, and political life. 3. Nature: - Ten Commandments: These commandments are concise and comprehensive, addressing broad principles of morality and worship. (Exodus 20:1-17) - Other Laws of Moses: These laws are more detailed and specific, covering a wide range of topics from community hygiene to procedures for sacrifices and festivals. 4. Inscription: - Ten Commandments: Written by the finger of God on stone tablets, symbolizing their universality, permanence and divine authority (Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 9:10). - Other Laws of Moses: Written by Moses in a book (the Torah), indicating their role in guiding the daily life and worship of the Israelites (Deuteronomy 31:9). 5. Significance in Christianity: - Ten Commandments: Still relevant and applicable, forming a basis for Christian ethics. Written in the heart and mind in the new Covenant. (Matthew 5:17-48, James 2:8-10, Hebrews 8:10) - Other Laws of Moses: The ceremonial and civil laws were fulfilled by Jesus Christ and are no longer binding on Christians (Colossians 2:14-17; Hebrews 10:1-10). 6. Location in the sanctuary: -Ten Commandments: Placed inside the Ark of the Covenant (Deuteronomy10:2,5) -Other Laws of Moses: Placed by the side of the Ark of the Covenant (Deuteronomy 31:24-26) This distinction highlights the unique role of the Ten Commandments as a perpetual foundational moral code, while the other laws of Moses served to govern the specific covenant relationship between God and the nation of Israel.

    No, God did not establish the sabbath at creation, it was unknown prior to it being given to Israel and ISRAEL ALONE through Moses. Nehemiah 9:13-14 makes this clear. The day on which God rested following creation was not the sabbath. It was the one unique and never to be repeated day that followed the six days of creation. Adam and Eve were not told to rest that day. (They were less than one day old). They were not told to number the days to seven then start again at one, and nor were they told to rest on the 14th day or the 21st etc. There is not a hint of the sabbath being an ongoing weekly observance until it was first mentioned in the Bible when the manna was given to the Jews in Exodus! The sabbath was given to Israel as the SIGN of the Mosaic covenant. A covenant that Christians are not bound by. The sabbath therefore has no place in the chur h.

    So if you are standing in Samoa, and the sun is straight overhead, and you have one foot on one side of the international date line and another foot on the other side you have two different days. One is the Sabbath and one is the Sunday. I have a news article where the SDA split over which day was which in Samao. According to the Bible, the Sabbath starts on Friday our day, as the sun goes down and ends on Saturday, when the sun goes down. So if you are in Alaska and the sun sets and doesn't come back for months is that the Sabbath? To honor the Sabbath you are forbidden to work, you servants to work and you were forbidden to light a fire, try that in the winter. The church started on the Day of Pentecost - which was the first day of the week. No I don't keep the 10 commandments - I have a higher standard. Matthew 5:22 don't kill becomes don't hate, Matt 5:27-28 don't commit adultry becomes don't think lustful thoughts, Don't take the name of the Lord in vain becomes in Matt. 5:33-37 be very careful of what you say. I also am not a Jew, and the 10 commandments are also called a covenant, and it is clear in Deut. 5:2-3 that these were given unto just the Jew under Moses read the rest of the chapter. Check out Deut. 9:9, 11 they are called a covenant, and they were carried in the ark of the covenant. In Jer. 31: 31,32 God said he would replace all of those laws, and He did: Heb. 8:7-13

    If it has nothing to do with salvation - then why do it? Are you not at the start, defeating your own reasoning? Why don't we have the Third-day Baptist Church? Isn't it a 'Sign'? Therefore stating that we are His people and He is our god. How many times does this authoritative source of yours/ours say "obey", "keep"? I am not sure how many commands we can forget (not remember) before it becomes a salvation issue, do you? Can we have it both ways? Can we forget the Fourth Commandment, make up our own tradition and then turn around and say 'this book is authoritative'?

      @@hotwax9376 It's been a minute since I wrote my response. Thank you for engaging. 1st I'll say, no one but man divided YHWH'S Law into 3 categories. If you know where that is please point it out to me. 2nd, I think Paul gave us a list of the types of people and their actions that will prevent them from entering the Kingdom. 3rd, in Romans 2:13 Paul says '...merely listening to the Law doesn't make us right with YHWH. It is obeying the Law that makes us right in His sight. And verse 16 says Yeshua will judge everyone's secret life. So I am kinda thinking we are moving in the direction of blessings if we do obey; as best as possible with a contrite heart, His commandments - no matter what category people may tuck them under.

    God rested from creation on the seventh day and gave the commandment to the children of Israel to remember the Sabbath to keep it holy but now since Jesus Christ the Son of God rose from the grave as our redeemer we as the body of Christ honor God by worshiping on the first day week. Personally to me everyday of the week I worship God but on Sunday I meet and worship with fellow believers. Mk. 30-31 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. John 14:15 and "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:4 "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14 There are many sincere Christians who are honestly misguided on the importance of obeying God's commandments. God is calling His people in these last days to return to obedience. His last day people are described in Revelation: "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12 The commandments have always been God's standard of right and wrong, and breaking the commandments is the very definition of sin (1 John 3:4). We obey the commandments not to save ourselves (which we can never do), but BECAUSE we are saved - they are proof that our faith is genuine and that we love Jesus. @Mitchell Osmer 2Tim._2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Rightly dividing - 1Co_10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: So the Bible gives three divisions, one is the church of God is made up of Jews and Gentiles. Deu 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. Deu 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. So this covenant was not made with Adam, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, but with those alive at the time of Moses. (and not to the Gentiles). Deut. 5:6-22 are listed all the ten commandments. Which are also called a COVENANT. (An agreement between two parties - conditional in this case - you do this, and i will do this, you don't do this, I am not obligated to do anything). Deut. 9:11, Ex 34:28, Deut. 4:13, Deut. 9:15, Then you have the ark of the covenant - carried by Israel - so named because inside were the 10 articles of the covenant. Then God is clear: Jer 31:31-35 He was going to do away with that covenant. AND HE DID!! (and before you say something about doing away with the Sabbath, you can do away with murder adultery) No I don't keep the 10 commandments - I have a higher standard. Matthew 5:22 don't kill becomes don't hate, Matt 5:27-28 don't commit adultery becomes don't think lustful thoughts, Don't take the name of the Lord in vain becomes in Matt. 5:33-37 be very careful of what you say. The evidence of doing away of that first covenant: Heb_7:12 “ For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.” Jesus Christ could not be our high priest according to the law, He is from the tribe of Judah, not Levi. Heb. 8:9-13. I point out Heb 8:13 after quoting the passage in Jer., the writer says there is a new covenant. Heb_9:15 “And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” In Greek the word testament is the same word as covenant used else where. I also point out we have an Old Testament and a New Testament. Then we have the Jesus appearing to his disciples on the first day of the week. We have the start of the church on Pentecost (another subject), on the first day of the week (Lev. 23:15-16).

      @@alanberry5091 Yes the scripture you give is God's Word and we are to study it through guidance by the Holy Spirit to rightly divide the Word of truth. Matt. 22:37-39 Jesus said to him (us), you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang (include) all the law and the prophets. I Cor. 6:19 What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own? If we are truly Christians, we will strive to yield to the Holy Spirit and do works by the gifts of the Holy Spirit which honors and glorifies our heavenly Father. Gal. 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Jesus, Our Great High Priest In Jesus we have “a great high priest who has passed through the heavens,” who is able to “sympathize with our weaknesses,” having been “tested like us in every way, yet without sin.” ------Jesus’ high priesthood, Hebrews tells us, is different. He has no sin to atone for. He offered one sacrifice, himself on the cross, once for all - and that was enough. While the Jewish high priest entered year after year into the Temple sanctuary with the blood of animals, Jesus has entered the true sanctuary, heaven itself, where he lives forever to intercede for us before God. Jesus’ priesthood surpasses the Jewish Levitical priesthood. He is a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek -----“Unlike the other high priests, Jesus does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for His own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when He offered Himself” (Hebrews 7:27). -----Priests of the old covenant The author of Hebrews paints two images that are high in contrast: the priests of the past and Jesus, the new high priest. The priests of the old covenant were ordinary people, just like you and me. They could only serve for a number of years and eventually they would die, just like you and me. When they offered sacrifices for the people, they first had to offer sacrifices for themselves, because they were sinful people, just like you and me. The sacrifices had to be offered again and again because they never really sufficed to take away sin. This image looks imperfect and dull in color. -----Jesus the perfect high priest And then the author directs our gaze to the other, perfect image that shimmers with bright colors. It shows us Jesus the high priest, who offered up himself as the perfect sacrifice, once and for all (see Hebrews 9:12, 10:14). He never sinned but was holy, blameless, and pure - unlike you and me. He holds the priesthood forever because He never dies but continues forever - unlike you and me. The priests of old were appointed by the law, but Jesus was appointed by the oath God uttered: “You are a priest forever” (Psalm 110:4, Hebrews 7:17) - and this oath will never be changed or nullified. *****quote--. @@aajc112 One scripture I will share is in the book of Hebrews. Hebrews 8:1-13 8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. 6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. The main verse is in the 13th verse under the Mosaic law the grace of God had not yet been established for example in the book of Jeremiah of tribe of Judah and Benjamin had corrupted the land because they did not allow the land to be at rest on the Sabbath day and on the Sabbathical year so this was one of the main reasons that God allowed the Babylonians to take them into captivity Jeremiah 17:21-27 21 Thus saith the Lord; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; 22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers. 23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction. 24 And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the Lord, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; 25 Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. 26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the Lord. 27 But if ye will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. But as you know they did not hearken to the voice of the Lord through his prophets and they were condemned to be cursed according to the book of Moses that God told Moses to record but God promised to establish a New Covenant that will allow the grace of God to be birth alive within the hearts of men. Jeremiah 31:31-34 1 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Verse 33 says that he will write it in their inward parts in the hearts of men and this could only happen but through the blood that was shed at Calvary through Jesus Christ now this is why Jesus Christ is our Sabbath not according to the writing on tables of stone in which it was weak through the flesh now the Lord requires for the Saints to rest in Jesus spiritually not according to going to church on a certain day or establishing a church as Seventh day Adventist which is of the Mosaic law. The tablets of stone didn't have the grace of God so therefore the Jews were condemned according to the circumcision of the flesh. But the Bible says that whom the Son has set free is free indeed. Just as it was in Acts 15:5-10 certain Pharisees said that the new converted Gentiles had to be circumcised in order to be saved but Peter spoke out against that doctrine and he ask them Why try to put this yoke upon us that even our fathers could not keep. You know that the circumcision of the flesh was superior in conjunction to the Sabbath this was the way that God identified the Israelites as being his people but it was according to the flesh and Christ came and abolished the enmity thereby. Amen 🙏!

      @@Charles73358 thanks for the response brother. Firstly: It is important to realize that the Sabbath was not part of the "mosaic law" as you put it, but part of the ten commandment law. This is a mistake that is commonly made among Christianity. They remove the Sabbath from the ten commandments and lump it in with the laws of sacrifices and offerings. God spoke the ten commandments to all of Israel, and wrote them with his own finger. The Mosaic law was told to Moses alone, and he wrote them. So let's not mix the Mosaic law with the ten commandment law, they are distinct and separate. Secondly: I'm not sure how the Jews being punished for not keeping the Sabbath is relevant to whether or not we should keep the Sabbath today. Third: The law written on the heart is not just a NT concept. David said Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11 The Israelites were also keeping the Sabbath before the ten commandments were given, which is clearly shown in the manna episode, which took place before the ten commandments in Ex 20. Fourth: God's grace has been given to humanity since the very moment that Adam and Eve sinned. God said to them that in the day that they ate of the fruit, they would surely die. Well we know that they didn't die that very die, because grace was applied to them. The Bible says that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. As soon as sin entered into the world, Jesus offered himself as the Lamb to be slain, thus applying grace to the human race. And the OT is absolutely full of verses speaking about God's grace and mercy, so I'm not sure where this concept of Grace only applying when Jesus came comes from. It's certainly not biblical. Fifth: We are told in the NT that those who love God will keep his commandments, and that if you do not keep his commandments, then you do not love him. This is made clear in 1 John. And of course we have what Jesus says in John 14. If ye love me, keep my commandments. John 14:15 Let me know what you think my brother. God bless you.

      @aajc112 Don't allow yourself to be under the law for the Bible says those that are under the law are under the curse. You are not a Jew you are a Gentile when Cornelius received the Holy Ghost and his entire family God did not require for Cornelius to be circumcised. For the Bible says that if any man be circumcised Christ will profit you nothing. When the Gospel reached the Gentiles the day of Pentecost have fully come the Sabbath was just a shadow of the Messiah that was to come in the Jews future to bring everlasting righteousness now the Sabbath became spiritual because of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ the commandment of the Sabbath is now of the spirit and not of the flesh Jesus is our Sabbath and we can now rest in Jesus when persecution arises and trials and tribulations come into our lives we cast all of our cares on Jesus. For the Bible says to think it not strange concerning the fiery trials that is to try you as though some strange thing has happened unto you but to rejoice for we are partakers of Christ suffering. Amen 🙏!
