I have done this version, I also substituted foolproof for the 12, and I recently did a third version where I split the 40% between well or 12 and foolproof so there were three going into the mixture and amongst my friends that was the best and closest in taste so 60% 107 20% foolproof and 20% 12

Not doubting that it’s good, but it’s a tough sale based on the cost and half-size bottle.

I wonder how this would be with 1924 instead of 1920, and 1910 since it would give more age and closer to the same proof. Id be the guinea pig but i dont have real bday bourbon to compare. Feel free to send me a sample of the bday bourbon and i will send you some of the 1924 & 1910 mix haha

I visited Fidens when they only had cans to go in Albany New york. There products are really good in my opinion. I believe they have a taproom open now that I would love to go to. Also, the weller with the screw caps are the old style bottles. They switched over to corks not to long ago. Another awesome episode guys! Cheers!

I live near a place called Iggy's Doughboys and Chowder House in Rhode Island and their New England Clam Chowder is always good. Love buying their doughboys and clam cakes as well lol Cheers guys!

I sampled a store pick from a local chain liquor store. It was $80 for a 750ml bottle which I wasn't necessarily sold on, but the product was good. Love your perspective on this starlight product though. Their rye and bourbon are awesome and definitely worth the money. Cheers guys, I have been shouting you guys out. I can see why everyone is going crazy for the amburana barrel finished bourbons. Unfortunately Ive never seen the Joseph magnus cigar blend but ive always heard it was really good.
