👋Hello, Miss Dalivanh... I THOUGHT TO SHARE Some Of My Own Views About Your Complaints. 1.On 80% ONLY REFUND. The Reason Why The Laos Railway Would Not Refund 100% is likely because they wanted to DISCOURAGE passengers from changing tickets once purchased as it could involve EXTRA administrative work for railway staff. Also imagine if changing tickets 🎟 is allowed but later the Laos Railway could not resell the returned tickets. Laos Railway would then have to bear the loss for no fault of their own. 2.On RAILWAY STATIONS FAR FROM CITY CENTRE. It is the trend nowadays all over the world to build airports and railway stations Not in the downtown area but FAR from the city center. During the earlier days, many stations and airports were previously built in the downtown area but later had to move as the city expanded. Imagine 10 years down the road, Laos has to build a new railway station because of city expansion where they needed the land where the station is currently situated. All these would involve more time and $$$. 3.On “STOLEN SEAT” Can you please share what happened when later the train staff found out about it. Did the rightful ticket holder manage to get the seat back? 4.On NO TOILET PAPER. I Think Normally it is provided. If Vientiane Station toilets 🚻 are supplied with papers, then Luang Prabang should have. Perhaps there were many passengers and the place quickly ran out of stock. I'm just guessing.😊 5.On NEED FOR REGULAR CLEANING. You didn't mention WHERE. Was it at Luang Prabang Station, or inside the train itself? 6.On CROWDED LUANG PRABANG RAILWAY STATION. It means The Train Ride Is Popular and this means more $$$ which is good for Laos. Anyway, from your video, I noticed there were still many empty seats💺available in the station which means the station is Not TOO Crowded. 🤔

Ticket can be changed one time for free, but the conditions are set: (1) Purchased through the APP instead of the counter, and ticket not printed; (2) The boarding and alighting station are exactly the same. (3) The new boarding date cannot be later than the date of the old ticket . If the old ticket is of Monday, changing to Sunday or Monday (other time) is free, but changing to Tuesday will be charged. (4) If the seat level change (e.g. from second-class seat to fist-class seat), the difference will be charged.

You think Luang Prabang station is "crowded". But if you have been to a train station in China or Japan, you won't feel this way.

Will it one day be extended to Champasak and Attapeu provinces in Laos? By then, every place can be quickly reached in Vientiane.

I believe they have bulldozed and relocated lots of residents along the railway. To be build station near Vientiane and Luang prabang city is practically impossible due to the cost. LCR station includes station. 500 metre station tracks, offices, staff dormintory, control rooms, maintenance yard, and freight facilities and police post etc. all in all require large plot of land

In the beginning. there is no online sales. people lines up at ticket office for new year mostly

I had also taken the train last week. Vientiane-Luang Prabang-Kun Ming-Xishuangbanna-Luang Prabang-Vientiane. My feedback : 1)It's true that foreigners can register for the online ticket purchase application. But the system doesn't allow when it comes to payment. So I ended up buying through an agent. I have known other passengers giving the same feedback as well. 2)Unpleasant experience when I arrived at Vientiane station from Xishuangbanna. There were female staff at the arrival doors opening their arms as if they were welcoming us. In fact, they were gesturing for the passengers to slow down because they wanted to check the tickets. Many were not aware of this and just walked pass the door. When it was my turn, I did slow down because I felt the weird vibe. Then with a sharp gaze, one of the staff said "ticket!" in Mandarin. This wasn't announced before or during the time we were on the train. What if we left the tickets inside the train? 3)Presently, it is mandatory for us to exchange for paper tickets prior to boarding even if you've already purchased online with a valid QR in your phones. I really hope this would change in the future and the QR we have in our devices are sufficient and can be used for boarding. Aren't we suppose to do our parts too with reducing the usage of paper a.k.a go green?

Your reasons to visit vientaine is not really convincing , but the piano background music is convincing enough fir me to visit Vientaine. Haha . I know you’re a city girl/ lady and not a ban nog ( country girl/ lady) . Hopefully you can answer this question. When should I go visit Laos and where in Laos if I want to see green rice field and people working and harvesting the fields? Btw , I m joking about the pianos 🎹 background music. Haha .
