I love that I'm seeing more and more content about Star Darlings! I also love that someone finally noticed, and the world-building is EXCELLENT. This might sound a bit hater-ish, but the world-building in Descendants is nothing compared to Star Darlings. Both are fictional worlds with a million possibilities, but Descendants feels like a sad copy of the real world, whereas Star Darlings thought out even the smallest details, many of which we didn't even get to see. Regarding Wish, I personally liked it, maybe because it reminds me a lot of SD, and as someone who hasn't seen anything about them in recent years, I'll take it. It might sound a bit silly, but I feel that Disney might turn its attention to them in any way that helps. I also have some hope because they used "Wish Now" for a Disney On Ice performance, so Disney hasn't completely forgotten them. I'm not defending Disney, but I feel like it is a bit difficult to bring back a little-known franchise like Star Darlings. I would be afraid that bringing them back again might not be successful, but with good marketing and a strong fan base, it could work. Additionally, I am also an ultra-mega-hyper fan of SD and try to create content about them on various platforms, especially on Tumblr. It's really challenging because many people aren't very interested in this "kids' show" and its incomplete state, so if it helps a bit to connect them with Wish, then I think any visibility they get is good visibility. ❤
