Creo Parametric Automated Gear Model Generation

The video shows how you can utilize PTC's Creo Parametric to Generate a Gear Model by only fetching the values of governing parameters. The complete process from model to drawing generation is automated using Pro/Program and Relations.
WoW What a great project...... Can you Do more tutorials on Pro/Program in creo.
Hello, could you indicate a book or a tutorial that teaches this procedure.
Hello sir, after I copy paste the surface, I am not able to extend it. Option does not go available to click. Any suggestions???
I wrote one blog this might help you to write plugin to automate process in PTC creo. www.prototechsolutions.com/6-tips-start-automating-tasks-ptc-creo-writing-plugin/ Have look share your views
nice
Does anyone know an equivalent of KBEWorks (making design automation for Solidworks) that runs with Creo 3.0 ? I would like do do design automation, but I don't know how.... :/ Thanks in advance.
This has been done using pro/program and relations in Creo.
Hey, really nice project. However, I would like to ask you about something different. Can you tell me how did you do this projection of your parameters in the right upper corner and the same with the name of the model in the left upper corner? I will be grateful for your help ;)
+Marcin Krawczyk Hi Marcin, These are 3D annotations comes as notes under annotate tab. for ex: Module = &Module(name of the parameter)
+Shashank Sharma Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for ;)
Hi Shashank Sharma, thank you for your interesting video. I'm also looking for how you display parameters on the left upper corner. I read what you explained but do not understand exactly. Could you please give me more details aout that ? Thank you in advance.
Hi Marcin, in case Shashank doesn"t answer, I would like to ask you if you've understood the instructions about displaying the parameters in the left upper corner ? I try to do it but fail.
I finally found the solution. It's just a pity you have to click many times to change the value of the parameters. It's quite annoying.. :/
That was pretty good, but you did not run a draft check at the end to confirm there are no undercuts. I am surprised Creo did not allow you to pattern all the blends and rounds.
Good way to control the gear parameters thorough parametric notes. Is the profile an Involute?
yes...its an involute profile!
we have developed this auomated template for a specific customer, wont be able to share the details.
hi its great can u share how did u do that.
Hi, the video is great. can you share the detail of modeling the gear...?
