Tough Talk 12: How To Keep From Getting Dizzy On The Medication Carousel
Просмотров 178 лет назад
1. Stay focused on the results. Work with your Dr. to solve 1 problem at a time. 2. Ask your Dr. how long you should stick with a new medication to thoroughly test it out and document your experience. Specifics about failures help your Dr. narrow the search to a specific class of medications. 3. Repeat this process until you find treatment that works. Repeat if treatment stops working. Repeat t...
Tough Talk 11: How To Get Out of A Rut
Просмотров 228 лет назад
Hopefully I've explained how to get out of a bad rut. However in case it wasn't clear here are the bullet points: 1. Take it easy at first because you're suffering. So: Focus on 1 change that will make the most impact. 2. Be consistent with your efforts! If the rut feels like a constant you must be more consistent than it to change. 3. Act positively on motivation as soon as it comes but think ...

Tough Talk 08: Why Stigma Matters

Correction to Tough Talk 05. It appears the staff were not just trying to do their best without my lab results. In fact they all were responsible and mostly due to their stigma towards the mentally ill.

Tough Talk 05: Institutionalized. Being Somebody's Problem

This video is coming out early by one day because I'm sort of an emotional wreck right now. So I can't edit this. I can't watch it back for quality assurance. I just can't. I'm at my limit. But it's done. I really hope this makes a difference.
Tough Talk 04: Psychiatrists

I'm here hoping to share my experiences with psychiatrists as it relates to treatment. I hope it will help you understand how difficult this process is for everyone with mental illness. Tough Talk 03: The Diagnosis
Просмотров 568 лет назад
Today I'm sharing the frightening and life changing discovery that is a Bipolar Diagnosis. I really hope this helps people understand more about what it means to be manic and depressive. I have a correction to make (My diagnosis was in 2013 not 2012) but I don't want it to disrupt or distract from the telling of the story.
Tough Talk 02: Medication

Medication is the most difficult lifestyle change to accept with the Bipolar diagnosis. But as difficult as it is to manage, it is possible to master the process and get exactly what you need.
Tough Talk 01: Introduction
Просмотров 778 лет назад
I'm introducing a vlog style web-series that I hope will help connect people with mental illness in a way that is uplifting for everyone. Make no mistake mental illness is a powerful enemy, all I want to do is stand up against it every way I can. I had endless technical difficulties recording this video, I apologize for any inferior quality.

Update Crestwood is in control of treatment in my entire county, I know they must have changed but I cannot believe that the same owners are profiting when they've done this to me. What have they answered for. I'm thankful for every one of my 40 views but seriously thousands of people in my county need to hear of this.

I acquired this dizziness vertigo solution “Yοyο kamvuku” (Google it) for my spouse who has experienced different levels of dizziness for four to five. He began having outcomes after four days, and now after a full week, even though not 100% yet he`s had very long periods of complete alleviation. Hopefully, with extended use, he will be dizzy free before long.

+ajherm49 Thanks Austin. I know it's been a long time. I want to share as much of this as far as it will will go. If anyone has a relative with mental illness. As well as to raise awareness for the disease in actuality and not the fiction or myth going around in society. But I missed not staying connected. And the way I rehearse for each video is just like I did before a round of debate. Go figure.
