EVE Online - Station Trading & Market Fundamentals
This recording is from a class I held on our corp Discord, only slightly edited.
Why? Well, my CEO asked me to hold a seminar for the corp on market fundamentals so naturally I obliged.

I do this few minutes a week, first il go over 200 external shit you need to be able to start of.
I have a question, can I haul between trade Hubs for better margins? Dodixie to amarr is super hot if you find the right item. I have three trade Alts and making a Fürth for hek soon. Im new at this but this method is working. Is there a way I can optimize this and is it worth it?
For "garbage" items you collect durin missions or other activities. If it is to much of a hassle to sell them all individually, just reprocesse everything and sell the minerals. You make much more even buy selling directly to buyorders.
You mentioned that you don't update sell orders (with some exceptions e.g. need the ISK) because you trust your market analysis. However, you mentioned that you do update buy orders on a daily basis. Why doesn't the same logic apply to the buy orders? Thanks for the great video!
Because it's not the same thing. In the long run, the market generally is too big for anyone to dictate what you can and can't get from it when you sell. When it booms it booms because the demand is higher than the supply. So if you got it at that time, you _will_ profit. But what they _can_ do is dictate to what extent you get the commodities to play it with, if you let them. Having plans for future sales is great, but if you don't acquire anything at the right time, you'll have nothing to sell when the time is right for that.
interesting, i've been using other techniques. most of which i've come to naturaly. i might try this thanks. Wish other games had eve market UI it's the best

the price history tab also has a table version, which might be easier for some information, such as price ranges (it is in the candle too of course)

Adam 4 Eve, lots of issues with 'Sell Price" not populating in 'Margin Finder' I am submitting a ticket, but from their history this looks like a regular occurrence.
This video is awesome, I really want to get good a this and this video will definitely help, My respect to the corp and to you that give this seminar style for the members, this must be a great WH corp.

i find market manipulation the most satisfying. sadly i bring 0 content to eve, im just a profit leech and isk dump that "eat cheap stuff and sell it high" , i just love the multi tentacle of maxed order number and see wallet blink like macihngun. good voice also to hear in background asmr relax. love the chill vibe no stress (biggest trader weapon patience llol)
after 15ish year of eve yep, endgame station trading and watch billions. ironicly teaching trading end up with massively changing price undercut between each other lol add more people to the penny fight nuuuu lol luckily 224 station trader coudlnt see some amazing trading item you havnt shown wewww hehe

basicly giving the most valuable information :what item then aside from cutting profit with dumping tons , everyine is fair fight with 10% profit and maxed standing and skill. now its all about penny fight respect and give each other profit thaneveryone competiting to 10% less profit for nothing. its buyer we wanna drain not other trader lol
@@RealLifeMassMultiplayerRPG I work with other high tier traders and we worl together to manipulate thr markets. Once a month we get together and share our spreadsheets and decide what strategy we're gonna use that month.
Does loot not show on the km?
Nope, doesn't show what drops in the hangar containers. We ended up looting about 70+ billion and split it up among everyone in fleet. A further 35+ billion in T1/faction ships dropped, but we didn't have time to manually fly all of those out of the target WH so we just blew them up on field. Our killboards look great for it xD
