Idk if you no but your supposed to put 3 layers of water stain repellent first each coat must wait 30 min to dry then after you apply the mink oil that will keep your shoes lasting forever. And all your shoes you have out on that shelf arent gonna llast forever you have them exsposed to to much elements i have a shoe collection and i keep them individually wrapped in acid free tissue papper and put them in a 5 gallon zip loc bag and put back in shoe box and then all boxes are put in a storage bin with lid and there in my closet were its cool and dark what shoes like
