We have spent a lot of time on established city trails. Today we are exploring the area where the city is working with developers to put in a new park. The city has started working on the plans but we are unsure on when the project will start or be completed. We just wanted to go out and look over this raw land.

Heading out on Trail 1A to search for a dirt and rock bike jump that was built out on the trail just East of VOAZ. What will we find?

We return to Lookout Mountain to head West on trail 308 and an undesignated trail that should be adopted by the City of Phoenix.

Today we hike another trail that is part of the Summit Challenge. It's in the middle of a beautiful neighborhood and easy to access.

Today's video is Dreamy Draw to Tatum, the final section of trail 100.

Today we go from Shea to Dreamy Draw Park. We will point out a new section of trail 100, look at the entrance to an old mine, explain how Dreamy Draw got it's name and look briefly at the new and improved Dreamy Draw Park.

Today is a short ride (Jim will discuss why). Picking up at the Cave Creek Rd horse tunnel to Shea.

For this segment we start at the horse tunnel at 7th Street by the North Mountain Visitor Center parking lot and we head east to the horse tunnel at Cave Creek Road.

Back to Trail 100 but this time we are planning an end to end (approximately 11 miles one way). This is segment 1 of several segments as we break it down into more manageable trips. Along the way we are going to point out "true Trail 100."

This is a small glimpse into the Phoenix Summit Challenge day.
