Prefer the faster version. The first sounds like a dirge, which is probably appropriate, but falls short of conveying the "don't quit" idea Chirs embodied and you're trying to tell us about. Besides, upbeat gets your blood going, and that's what it takes to push yourself back to your feet and throw the idea of giving up off your back. Thanks for the catch phrase - don't let that devil in!

Michael's June 23 show in Maine was amazing. He brings joy to people. Made me feel alive again. Even the heavy rain and thunderstorm seemed right to remind us we are deeply, vividly, intensely alive and all part of the same colorful, woven fabric.

I love this sound. What type/make uke do you use?
Thanks for the kind words. I have a couple that I play more than others. This video was with my KLOS carbon fiber uke. It's not a 'plastic' uke, but a true, higher quality carbon fiber ukulele with a pick-up for playing out. I sail boats, so it makes sense for my travels. My other goto uses are made by Luis Pilarte in Nicaragua. Cocobolo wood which has a very warm tone. Perfect for my lower vocal register.
