Today im fishing a reservoir i havent fished for 5years. With the sun going down i ran out of time to catch a bag load but its not a donut. I also have to COOL footage of a feeding freenzy.

    You changed your lure in between walking to the stream to when you hit the deep water. Did you have some casts before hand ?

      In this video im using 25-40gm metals. The bigger the surf the heavier i go, a lots changed since this ep ive got the heavier rod now check the rod specs when casting lures.

      lighter the line the better. I find the onk a funny river to fish. just trial and error really without knowing what your using gear/ lure wise not sure. if u check out my bream fishing playlist i explain things in one video or another. as for bait i couldnt go past white bait or even cubes of garfish were the go back in the day. Tides depends what part of the river u fish with that and u cant beat overcast conditions when fishing for bream.

    It's still good to see that they're naturally still in the wild. And they're very hard to come by in the wild. And you never want to give up the spot when you do find them. Great that they're still around congratulations lovely fine hopefully they'll be back next year in the same spot.

      tide was 3:30pm at 1meter. the heighest tides down there are no more then 1.4m

      There's a lot of houses that back onto the creek and farm properties with rainfall runoff that goes into the creek. I'm sure it would be fine to eat them but it's not the cleanest creek water. Also numbers of stock are unknown (that I'm aware of) so it's nice to release and catch again. 👍🏼

      This style of fishing spinning for sure. One thing with spinning u have a drag sound. I can buy tackle everywhere from tackle stores to BCF and online.

    Loved that you scored the lure back- I had a similar experience at the Onkaparinga Mouth- river side, but it was only 30 mins or so between breaking off and catching the lure back.... Not 2 weeks lol. Great stuff 👍 👌
