The Jeep 4 liter is my personal favorite. I've owned 3 of them. One of them, in particular, had absolutely no reason to continue running. Yet it continued to run, and run well. It was a moderately impressive rollover that finally retired that Wrangler.

The 2.3 Lima was serious weak sauce. Yes, it was used in the Ranger but it had so little power you could not get 4WD on said Ranger with that engine. I had a 72 Duster with the Slant-Six that had a common exhaust manifold problem. They cracked. A piece fell out of mine so that it sounded like a tank. The manifolds were on back order for six weeks.

AGAIN! talking K20 you're showing K24 engines! Do better.

You show a late model civic while talking about the b18 engine. The cars you're showing have K20 series motors. What a joke. 😂😂😂😂 there are ENDLESs pictures of proper honda vehicles with b18 power plants on the internet. Completely invalid list now. Appreciate the effort for the video but it takes a little more homework to match what’s on the screen v/s what’s being talked about… Examples: most of the Hemi motors were of the wrong era and type; the Ford trucks being shown for the 4.6 Mod motors & the Buick 3800 series v/s the previous generation 3.8 liter design. Not meaning to nit-pick - just trying to help so a better example can be done on future projects. Being professional takes more than a quick browse through the internet to gather information.

If Fiat would listen to folks now Stellantis quit, bring back the 225 six using the same bottom end with a modern induction and a 24 v head. Easy get 300 hp out of it. I’d buy a Jeep in a heartbeat.

A couple of quick points.1 the Ford 2.3 was built in LIMA Ohio ( long I, like the bean.). 2. I’d suggest adding the 2.5 Pontiac Iron Duke. Not sexy like a hemi, but tough& reliable. Hundreds of thousands still on the road many almost 30 years old. The Grumman postal truck is powered by it. And you see those trucks every day still hauling the mail.

I have a 76 350 powering an old Chevy PU, installed it 84,with 23.000 original miles,now still runs great,leaks oil but has over 300.000. Another note 300 Ford engines did not come with steel cranks in standard form,they were standard in the heavy duty version of the 300 Ford 6,but most of those engines were found in the big F-Series Ford trucks.

The 4.6 was never used in any of the vehicle years shown. These would have all had the Windsor platform if equipped with a V-8....The Jeep's shown use the Pentastar V-6, not the 4.0 straight 6. An excellent video except for these glaring oversights on the vehicles....

Ford 300 six. Legendary endurance. Ford 4.6 2V...also legendary in the legendary Crown Victoria.
