Ward Wrenching
США
Добавлен 10 май 2022
I want to share what I’ve learned over the years. Anything is possible if you try hard enough and cars are no different!
Throughout my life I learned a majority of my car knowledge from my family and from watching RUclips videos. This channel is meant as a way to say thanks and pass on that information. If it wasn’t for them, I would have never experienced the joy of wrenching.
I “allegedly” fix cars because my friends, family and coworkers would always say to me “hey you know how to work on cars right?” I would respond with “allegedly”.
I’m obsessed with cars. Especially working on cars. My goal is create a data bank of knowledge where everyone can come to learn something new about wrenching.
You’ll see all types of cars. Daily’s, classics, race cars, broken cars, rust buckets, exotic cars, and everything in between.
Whether you have never touched a wrench or you are a master mechanic THIS channel is for you.

How do you make you have the relay plugged in correctly?
How about just using a test light It’s even simpler, just connect your test light to a good ground and touch each side of the fuse, if the fuse is good test light glows on both nibs
that's brilliant w the battery! My ohms meter says it's fine but I don't hear any clicking with the battery test so
You had one job, to explain how to install the thermostat gasket. You did not do that.
Not a foolproof way. You don’t know how much power it will handle. Just because it clicks doesn’t mean that the contacts are good.
Dehpola bhai ab to dikhao fortuner 😂
Damn!! Thank you so much. This was very helpful. To the point. Precide information. Clear communication.
Knock knock mother fucker it's the United States of America and we hear you you got oil that's not under our possession so turn off the stove and give me the oil before I have to resort to bringing democracy
Can I start the engine after I sprayed it
I'm currently rebuilding my first automotive carburetor right now. I was amazed how loose some of the screws were. But it makes sense because most of the screws have A LOT of threads in contact with the carb. Plus they have tiny little locking washers on them. My current issue is mines been sitting in a humid garage for 10 years after getting completely gunked up with terrible fuel. Even with the fasteners removed somethings are just glued together because the gaskets soaked up all this shit and now their double sided tape basically. I got it submerged in a 5 gallon pale of Simple Green with my 40 year old sawzall rigged up to the side of the pale with the trigger zip tied on. It's a red neck ultrasonic cleaner.
I replaced the same 5amp fuse twice in a week so I placed a 50amp in and haven't had a problem since.
Auto zone put the H6 in my truck…notice d it was smaller then what was in there…(H7) is this ok? I lose CCA, should I have them put the H7 in? Thanks
Great !!!! Thanks for the tip.
Thank you
Except nobody resurfaces anymore for less than new rotors... so what you should really be telling people is how to resurface their own rotors
Are some fuses not suppose to light up unless the key is in the ON position ?
Same here
Cool, thanks
Thanks. #OneMessageFoundation
Thanks for the info, exactly what I was looking for.
This theory was tested on the cheapest torque wrench money can buy, a harbor freight Pittsburgh click style wrench. And it didn’t really affect it at all. But this “myth” was still listed by the torque test channel as plausible because it depends on the torque wrench you’re using.
Not true. The wrench doesn't understand if you're tightening or loosening. It simply limits the torque you're applying. To loosen bolts, you're applying torque. It's the same as tightening. Of course only if it's bi-directional.
To test continuity, you need to be in series with the circuit. This is testing in parallel and not a true reading.
Switch should be close to zero.
that's the primary coil test. incomplete testing
I usually just use a test light. Or if im feeling spry, my power probe. Interior fuses i use the door hinge as my ground, and just quickly touch.
Is one pin GROUND...?
The wrench doesn't know if it's tightening a left hand thread or loosening a right hand threat. The spring inside feels the same force. It never made sense to me mechanically
Can thos work for any car? Like a dodge magnum SE the thermostat is located in the lower radiator hose
No load test doesn't prove the relay
False
How do you know if you have hydro locked it ?
You should be able to get a breaker bar down to the harmonic balancer an rotate the engine if it rotates it’s not hydro locked if it doesn’t then it would be
You just saved me a very embarrassing text message to my dad. Thank you!
What a joke! Please rename this video.
Rap it with ryons rap you tnk
THANK YOU! ❤
Do i need not have to disconnect car battery?
My multimeter doesn't beep
maybe a stupid question but is the car on when you do this?
This is not the right way to check fuses. Read comments above to learn how to do it the right way.
Excellent! Thank you!
Great advice! Hope I don't need it
Relative compression test on a scope would be 100x faster
Continuity looks like?!.@worst signs ever made.where not aliana❤
Do all fuses brake if their bad or not
I tried. It works just fine. Good video and information. Thank you for sharing 👍. Except that that is a 9v not a 12v, but for the purpose of testing it. it works with the 9v battery.
Thats why on a lot of equipment that I work on and on our personal vehicle I changed all the fuses to the ones that light up to let me know they are popped, sometimes they wont light up so i dont fully trust it but its easier on my back lol not having to lay back down like I was able to back then lol.
it might not be broken; some fuses get power when key/push is set to accessories
Thanks for this video what size spacer do you recommend
Depending on what your working on you may have to have 12pt due to 12pt fasteners, I don’t us 12pt on 6pt fasteners but I have 12pt sockets
I believe hole helps to relieve air pressure and thermostat must be installed with hole at 12 o clock (not submerged into coolant)
