    Pro tip: When playing against 200-400 elo players, best thing to do is not try to develop your idea, this is due to them being so unpredictable with their horrid moves that not having a plan is the best way to beat them.

    Kramnik didn't calculate the win streaks, he calculated the "overperformance streaks" (i'm not sure what exactly it is). the opposite of tilting -- the "hot hand" , is probably a myth. and Kramnik says that neither tilting nor the hot-hand affect the result noticeably🤔. do you think it's possible at all to use statistics to detect cheating?

    • @TheChessProfessor
      @TheChessProfessor 3 месяца назад

      Yes, statistics in chess can help with detecting cheaters but it's much more useful to look at other factors such as: how long they take to move, are they premoving, is their rating consistent or do they have huge swings, win rate, decisions in critical moments, do they make perfect moves and then obvious blunder, do they make obscure moves that are extremely hard to find, new accounts... Checking these factors is in my opinion better than looking at statistics when detecting cheaters.

    u could adjust the formula to account for the amount of game lost. When we know that tilted players play worse the question becomes how much worse.

      @@TheChessProfessor sir, if engine shows +1.00. does this mean white will definitely win if the players are of equal strength?

    • @TheChessProfessor
      @TheChessProfessor 7 месяцев назад

      @@prakash_clt Depends on the position: a) +1 can mean 5 pawns white and 4 pawns black, which in a pawn endgame is usually a win, with more pieces on probably a draw b) there is a nice outpost for a piece, winning chances but most likely draw for humans c) random engine moves slowly force sub-optimal position, thus giving one side winning chances, for humans a draw d) ....100 other cases In this game after 27. a5 it was c) meaning there is no way a human wins, maybe gms but definitely not a 2000-rated player. +1 is not a decisive advantage, so usually position is still "equal".

    • @TheChessProfessor

      Do at least 10 puzzles per day and don't do daily puzzles because they are usually just some engine bs which is never going to happen in a real game.

    Nd4, as noted in the video, ias best because if Bxf7+, you can bongcloud the king. White must move the queen because of the threat of the knight, but there is no square to save the bishop after Qc4, b5.

    I gave up on playing honestly on Rensch's site after a year of losing to cheaters. As an experiment, I started using engines just to see how long it would take for Danny to catch me. Two years and 1100+ points of ELO later, no one has caught me, and I am using multiple accounts to do this. They're doing exactly zero to stop cheating and Danny lies to everyone about it. Were it not so, I would have been caught by now - I don't even hide what I am doing. My sole goal now is merely to wreck the site as much as I can. No, not sorry at all. 🙂
