I bought a "Leven Rose" brand Jojoba oil off Amazon and randomly saw this video and tried putting the bottle in the fridge. After a couple of hours it hasn't changed at all so far. I looked at the reviews and there were a few low star ones that mentioned the same thing so I guess I should have checked before buying it. It's overall rating was 4.6 with 974 reviews. Then I found an old comment on a similar product from the same brand from 2015 where the seller responded and said: "The Jojoba oil is 100% pure cold pressed. We filter out a a lot of the waxy esters that solidify in the fridge, so you will see that ours does not solidify easily. We do this because the waxy esters are basically a cheap filler that most leave in the oil, but we remove it because the waxy esters don't soak into your skin, and makes the oil feel greasy. You will find our oil soaks in well, and doesn't feel greasy. You'll hear a lot of makeup artists discussing this as well - the benefits of jojoba and the esters. The difference is though, that there are various levels of waxy esters that can be within the oil itself. For example, that's why some people will complain that a brand feels heavy and waxy versus our oil is smoother, doesn't have the same greasy feel and is light enough to use on your hair. An aesthetician should tell you that the balance between the waxy esters and the pureness of the oil is what makes it easier to soak into your skin. Keeping this balance is really important to us while keeping all the valuable nutrients and properties. I don't know enough about it to know if that's a logical response or not. It's annoying that you seem to have to do a research project to try to figure out if a product is even what the label says it is. If it is a scam it's unfortunate that people have been getting away with it for a decade or more with the same brands apparently. You'd think there'd be more vetting of products by retailers, especially for a product people put on their bodies.

I don't need to worry about the legalities around selling, but I have found that the last perfumers alcohol I used wasn't great in terms of longevity of the final product and just wondering what to look out for around optimal performance! Recording a podcast while on a train or really anywhere besides in front of a computer might solve the problem and be fun. Listeners would hear the background and it would be transportive. I wonder why more people don’t do that? Mics have gotten really good and there is software now that can lower or eliminate background noise if that’s not ideal.
