Two years ago, you recommended a book called “Evidence That Demands A Verdict.” It’s a exhaustive list of why we should trust the Bible, why Jesus is the Christ, etc. I will say it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s probably a post-graduate level book. I am still working on it and that is spending two months on the first five chapters.. but thanks so much for the condensed history lesson on the OT.

Im in the hospital with covid pneumonia and thank you so much Jeff and GNG for your word reaching me this morning. I really need it.

The Bible basically gives us a reality check in the question of Oppressor v. Oppressed. Sin is the Oppressor and the Sinner is the Oppressed. We our sinful selves chose and choose oppression every day we live in sin. The only freedom from true Oppression is to be saved and be redeemed in Christ. Without the Truth, Godliness being freedom and sin being oppression; people can only theorize their own insanity in a very poor attempt to assimilate their own version of a reality.
