I don't think people truly understood how Hope felt, because I've seen her compared to Klaus like "Oh he handled being the first hybrid so well it should be that much different for Hope she's being dramatic." but no Klaus was 1000+ years old and recreate versions of what he was, Hope was a child turning into a teenager, dealing with normal emotions that real teens feel on top of everything else, and being the only one of her kind.
