i got started making my own photocards bc of this tutorial, thank you! i've never had a problem with bubbles in the laminate, though whether thats bc i go slow or the laminate i'm using is thicker than yours, i'm not sure.

Hi! I really like your video. What paper would you recommend to proxy mtg cards? mtg cards are about 320gsm from what I've read online. I've done this in the past like 2 years ago and I *think* I used koala 2 sided glossy/matte 180gsm + 3mil laminate pouches, but I truly don't remember. Whichever way I did it, yes they did turn out a bit warped after laminating. Nothing too horrible. Still playable. However I'd like to get it better this time, and save time and money on the lamination process. I'm definitely going to reference your video because I'm getting the same printer as you and vinyl holo sheets and you 100% know what you're doing! Prior to this I just used any old printer, printed on the photo paper, laminated and cut and that was fine to play. But this time I want to get better quality prints and the "feel" of the cards while, hopefully, saving time from not laminating. I'm in a discord for proxies and others are saying to just drop the laminating and go for thicker 300 gsm paper. So we were gonna try out 300gsm plus vinyl(?) but that seems like it'd be too thick in my opinion. Who knows. Do you have any tips/advice for me? Thanks so much! I really enjoyed watching your video.

hii!! tysm for showing ur collection, i want one even more now TT i was just wondering, when you said install bones, are you installing them yourself? I'm looking at a specific doll but it doesn't come with a skeleton, and id really like him to be posable. ive never sewn before... do you think it'd be recommended for a beginner to do it?

maybe it's not as viable, but Makeplayingcards is pretty cheap! I personally use it to make proxies of Magic the gathering cards but I can totally see someone using them to make photocards too. They have a TON of customizability and you can customize where you want foil on the cards! this is honestly so impressive. you're great at this, keep spreading creativity and ingenuity!

nothing is forever files on your pc will eventually disappear through different errors like your hard drive deciding to commit sudoku so printing your work is so important to preserve it i should start doing this
