as of July 2024 this is still very much up to date and no matter if you play on PC or console, this is the best "new player guide" type video you can find on RUclips. Most other "guides" are people on 61+ characters with full accounts, who havent played the new or revamped storyquests in years, now trying to make "beginner guides" (fishing for clicks). This dude shows the process and the important parts. In BDO it is not about leveling to endgame (there is no real endgame), it is more about developing the account. This is a fantastic guide! Oh and, if you are on console, don't think about the Magnus Questline. JUst do the three very short Magnus quests that give you storage/box/final skill for your class and that's it. There is no 100+ questline for this (unlike PC) and there is no fasttraveling. Enjoy your horses, you will spend a lot of time traveling, oldschool 🙂

Hi how do you get the Tuvala Accesories? I don't have the option to exchange with the Blacksmith and I've completed all of the Valencia main story quests but I haven't gotten a single Tuvala Accessory yet. Did I miss something?

So I'm going to post this comment on here cuz it's one of your newer videos and I'm hoping you can comment on it I just recently downloaded this game and I'm trying to play it with controller only and I've watched a lot of beginner guides the controls are way more complex than any MMO I have played Guild Wars 2 World of Warcraft and Champions online City of Heroes and this is nowhere near anything like those I noticed which is a good change of pace but can you do a very dumb down version of a beginner's guide because I didn't understand how to do combos or anything like that with the powers I just started off on a wizard and I'm level 10 right now

If you're going to watch his stream in the future I would mute it. Having War Thunder audio while watching low volume or silent BDO is not peak content.

Like please film that part and show it when you do summary’s. I like the summary idea also. It makes it more concise and easier to digest. I have been doing quests like a mad man and also working on a huge node empire. I’ve got workers everywhere right now and storage bought. Anyways, family quest is super nice and autofeed is the best. What nodes do you invest in to make Valencia Meals? I’ve been focusing on Chicken, Wheat, Corn, Barley, Potatoes, Cedar, Figs, Date Palms, Spirit Leaf, Teff, and Flax.

set the video speed to 1,25x speed. alot more realistic speech. for some reason he talks REALLY slow. do yourself a favor speed it up alittle so you dont fall asleep.

Hey, I love the idea of this series! You have definitely helped me figure out some of the systems and crap. I think making a smaller video where you really explain why you are doing what you're doing would be great. I think you do a good job at it but when you going for fairies or doing fail stacking it would be super helpful to speak more about it. Also, I'm sure others have brought this up, but maybe you could try to fix your audio issues. For me, it seems as if you have a kind of echo/distortion on your voice. It may asl be that you have put an extreme noise gate. You may also want to check what audio source your recording software is pulling from. I have made videos in the past and was able to fairly easily fix these same issues. But if you want people to watch you, you need to be able to be heard clearly and distinctly compared to any other background noises. Just my two cents on it! I get there are guides and such but a lot of them are outdated and systems don't work the same. Even fail stacking and gear guides are all missing the fact that you use time filled stones for all gear upgrades, durability restore, and thus it changes how you fail stack in seaonal. I just started playing and it feels super hit or miss with each system as to if it actually works that way and what to be careful of using/spending to acheive a goal. There is so much crap that they give you and it's hard to figure out what items to keep, sale, use, etc. Anyways, I love the concept! You got this. You get that audio fixed and these vids will be awesome. Peace!

If u want farm knowledge u may need a pair of glasses and earrings (it is a gift during event) pets and potion also provide extra aid.

Great guide! I love the detail and pace of your videos. Although I disagree with the horse recommendation. The two seater ability is only useful for RP because everyone gets a T9. There's no reason why a friend shouldn't have their own horse. If you care about getting somewhere quickly then just active travel. The small difference between Doom and Peg afk travel means nothing if you walk away from your computer. Because the benefit of afk travel is it's hands free, not fast. I recommend Peg because it's the fastest active travel due to the huge shortcuts. No fall damage is surprisingly more useful than I originally thought too.

What do I do after hitting 58? The game has been leading me by hand and now suddenly stopped. Have no idea how to progress further. Quests in the Land of the morning light give me no exp :(

I'm loving this guide so much! I bought BDO during the Black Friday sale, it's something I've wanted to play for a while but it felt so overwhelming. After watching a few beginner videos this popped up as a a suggested video. This is "the one"! I love how you break things down AND give a suggestion as to what to do level by level. I've been following this as I progress through the season and a lot of the overwhelm has been taken away. I also love the spreadsheet as I'm a person who likes to check things off as I go. Thank you, I look forward to more videos!
