Super video about planetary gear boxes and drives for jack up systems. Only one small correction how the gear box works '' we give up speed to gain more torque not a power. Great work. Thanks a lot for this kind of training.

I'm a petroleum engineer and we do a few different things with tank entry. Our gas monitors have a ring behind the clip. Before entering a tank, we recommend tying a chord to the ring and lowering it into the free space in the tank (as shown). After a few moments the detector should alert to any gas dangers. That way we don't risk entry in a high concentration area.
As health and safety specialists I found this training very effective I just shared this with my safety team 👍🏻

Can one use this monitor in fumigation services?
Yes you can use the multi gas detector which of course will monitor the carbon dioxide and oxygen. A fumigation working environment produces carbon dioxide which is also a toxic gas
What is the holding time?
Depends on your class society requirements. We refer to ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances or API Recommended Practice 2D. The best is to check with inspector, because it depends of the type of the crane as well.

Good video graphic explanation the JU data requirement on Soil Investigation. On the hand the soil investigation normally can be extent also for designing the bearing capacity for the platform pile design. Great video!

In most work locations where H2S is present there has to be a H2S Safety Supervisor or Engineer who is responsible for training everyone onsite and monitoring the presence of H2S gas.
