Hi, yes every year the main New Year event is at Plaza España on the road leading to Montjuic, it's a bit chaotic but always worth being there. You'll have an amazing time

I'd try to be there before 11 but even then it's quite busy. The Metro will be running but the station at Plaza España is restricted to one entrance and they control the flow of people into it, it will take a while to enter, The night busses run but the roads in the area will be closed, if you are looking for a taxi I'd walk towards Sant Estacion, you'll have a better chance of finding one there and it's not a too long walk. or just walk for a while in any direction to get away from the chaos and get an Uber or Cabify. It's well worth going to but as always keep aware of your surroundings and look out for pickpockets

it's a good family resort, with lots to do whatever is your pleasure, I'll probably be back there sometime in September too so if you see a strange bloke walking around videoing wearing a hat with a Colombian mascot on the back of it it might be me so say hi

there's no shortage of choices for food, bars and clubs on the main road between there and Santa Susanna but I like the road parallel and walking slightly off the tourist track, if you have kids I'd suggest taking a walk to ruclips.net/video/t0iOnlo-9I0/видео.html and taker a pick-nick. the beach is nice and there's lots of space even when it's busy. We are well into summer so it's a good hot now, that comes with the occasion thunder storm this time of year but they pass quickly and the sun has the place dry in no time. You might want to have a day in Barcelona, it's a pretty straightforward trip on the Renfe (Local Train). I'm sure you'll have a great time whatever you're into
