I think the prices would depend on the vendors but you can negotiate the prices. The vendors there are all knowledgeable, so it's not like on the marketplace where people are selling a $0.50 pokemon card they graded for $200 because they only know pokemon cards are popular but not which ones. I think vendors usually base their prices on market value, so make sure to check on eBay recently sold and compare them. As for the entrance fee, the people organizing the event are the ones who set up and rent the space that allows vendors to sell and customers to shop around. The people who run the place, I am sure, are doing it on their own time and dime. Paying the entry fee probably covers their rent for the venue. I might not be 100% accurate, but this how I look at things. Hope that helps!

@AlexChoiCollectibles if you still have the receipt and the white sticker serial #, take a pic and email Upper Deck and explain your situation. I doubt they'll send you a new box, but you might get a pack. I've felt with them in a situation I had. And they helped me out. You can try, at least. Who knows right. Best of luck to you.
