Disc Golf Round at Porter Park
16 October 2024: It feels like forever since I played this course, though it's only been less than a week. I like to get out here at least twice a week though, as it's a great course to measure my progress on. It was 52 degrees and windy as heck, so I wasn't sure what would happen - but I was excited for the cooler weather. It's mid-October, after all. I did not play my best, but I learn every time I sling a disc.

5 October, 2024 On a weekend getaway with the wife, I found a course nearby and played a round. This is a very nice course with lots of elevation changes and obstacles. Lots of tight paths and neat shot layouts. For a big square piece of land with 18 holes on it, they did a fabulous job of making it interesting and fun.

1 October, 2024. I played a pretty good round this morning. Lost my mojo on hole 7 and 8. Oh, let's just cut the crap. I got bogeys on those holes, and I'm not ashamed to make an excuse: it was windy as hell. I have started taking videos of my drives and some of my upshots and putts so that I can analyze my throws and see what I'm doing wrong. I've had one lesson so far from a DG Pro (not sure if he would want me to mention his name yet...) and improved my game by about 426%. This is my dart room. Upon moving into this house, I saw a blank slate in this room. I constructed a spectator area and turned a closet into a wet bar, and built what I think is arguably the coolest dart room I've ever seen. I hope you enjoy it.
