This was 'Toastmasters Project-8 Speech' of this speaker. The objective of the project is to use visual aids. Often, a PowerPoint presentation comes to mind as a visual aid. This Table Topic speech was adjudged the First place winner at a Toastmasters Division Level Contest. On suddenly noticing the red flag and not knowing for how long it had been up, the speaker had to wind up immediately. This Toastmasters Speech Evaluation highlights one mistake we toastmasters must strive to avoid- crossing the time limit! The speaker spoke for some twelve seconds longer than the time limit and had to forget any chance of even being considered for the award!

Oops! Thanks for your encouragement. I do not usually watch my videos. Hence, I saw your comment on the 9th May '22! Four years after your post, I'm afraid. There's two things, if I may mention. One- just be yourself. Even with your weaknesses. Make no particular attempt to change, initially. I put my palms in my pocket. Wrong thing to do. But so be it. That's me- initially. (Of course, after a few speeches one should improve. I failed to. 😟) And two, do not attempt an overkill. Say what comes to mind. In a manner you would naturally do. Looking back on what I did, that's what I can say. If I missed something, it's my inability to spot it. Cheers!
