Yes most racing is done in England as that is where most cars are built and they have a lot of RAF Airfields converted to tracks. Senna was from Brazil and he had to go to England to get to F1 from a young age. These days they will go for something Ameican like INDY CAR or NASCAR which is fine but it is not the ultimate challenge. Look at all those Dutch fans cheering for him, That is a lot over one driver. As with Senna and Schumacher people loved them even though they where not from their nation. They liked them because they where the best drivers, and fun and entertaining to watch. I grew up in England before migrating to Canada so i like the British drivers but they are soft. Hill and Russell and if Lando had been tougher he would be a champion. You have to go back to Nigel Mansell to find a real driver with courage that can make a will mouve for the results and play chicken with the likes of Senna. Like Peter Windsor says FIA is trying to sanitise sport. Max races like they did in the 80's and 90's and no body cares. Plus i figured he would get a ban for dangerous driving. So he slowed down a bit at end of the season becuse a race ban could loose the tittle.

There is no such thing as “being over aggressive”. Everything within the rules is allowed. I would argue there is a lack of aggressive driving. Without Max we would be looking at a bi-weekly parade of cars with overpaid millionaires behind the wheel, not a race. But don’t worry, Max will quit soon enough bored and disappointed with F1 and then all of his haters can go back to complaining about the lack of competition on track. In the mean time, Max will set another racing class on fire with his talent. Probably in America where they recognise a generational talent when they see one.

The thing is, everyone wants to conveniently forget that every multitime champion is treated like this. Everyone complains that they push things too far, but that’s how you win multiple championships. Luis has had those moments in his career, Michael Schumacher, all of them. Then the next one comes along and they wanna act like he’s a demon that doesn’t know how to race. Max is so incredibly skilled.People need to grow up. Just because he’s beating the person that you like doesn’t mean he’s not worth his salt.

Max is one of the greatest if not the greatest drivers ever in terms of winning mentality & consistency on track. Even Lewis says that Max doesn't have any weaknesses whatsoever. The guy just lives & breathes racing. He's giving himself out there every single day he's on track & even on the sim prepping. Always on a wheel behind him.

I think that MV is MUCH more protected in the cockpit than any of the other aggressive “great” drivers that proceeded him. The halo works wonders. What i dont get, is WHY that guy on the end dont like Max. Is it just the image of Verstappen he has, the over aggresive driver? Did that guy ever see Verstappen on stream when he has his helmet off? He obviously is Brittish, and probably is a Hamilton fan, but have you ever seen Hamilton do anything when he is not racing that is helping the people he always talks about when he is on track? Verstappen partakes in benefit simraces to help other people, Vettel helped clean stands after races. Yet the last two always get hate for being winners at Red Bull. I've never seen Hamilton do anything about all the things he complains about during race weekends. F1 is slowly getting football hooligan levels, and i dont like it a bit... i dont even enjoy watching F1 anymore, mainly because everyone and his mother is going banana's after a race on socials. Its ridiculous, and its very good to see that Crofty is doing this, just to get the focus on what really matters... Seeing a once in a generation exceptional driver do his thing. Just like we did back in the days with Schumacher, Hakkinen, the upcoming of Alonso, the start of Hamilton, Vettel who took this 'drink company' to the top, winning in a Toro Rosso in the rain, and now Verstappen.
