The 5 of Swords just saved me some money. I loved every other card, but I just can't handle that 5 of Swords. Ugh.

I use to do a three spread for the week. The middle would be my message and I’d pull one on each side to be for the reverse meaning and the up right meaning.

Love this walk through!! I got such vintage vibes from this deck, like a stroll from the 1940's =1970's. I will definitely be purchasing as soon as it's available!!

Yay thank you for making this! I found someone selling their kickstarter on eBay last week and immediately got it!!! I agree it's very unique...I don't have any similar time period decks and am not sure what I have to pair it with. But love so many of the cards and excited to work with it! I feel like you can create a whole backstory for the people, especially the courts (which I need to learn better) and what advice they might give which is helpful. I enjoyed your insights :)

I pull a weekly (ish) spread at my kitchen altar, where I’ll leave the cards out so I can keep the reading in mind. Sometimes I’ll pull a couple more cards, for clarity/direction. I’ve been using the Green Witch Oracle with the Herbcrafter’s Tarot, but I’m excited to pull out the Witches Kitchen Oracle and the Hocus Pocus Tarot for that practice (so close!). For the Mysteries of Mary and/or the Mysteries of the Black Madonna, I still like to use those for full moon and new moon readings. Those decks pack a punch, and the guidebooks are meaty enough that digging in monthly is workable (for me).

Hello, I have a question. I have adhd, I love this deck buy always need to refer to the guidebook. How did you go about learning the numerlogical meanings for this deck. Figuered I ask for tips lol

I've started doing a monthly practice with the Folklore Oracle where I pull one card and have it up for the whole month as kind of my animal helper. I just love seeing it every day and I'll often go back to the guidebook and reread the entry throughout the month.

Can i ask what it is you do in your card of the week journal?

I'm so surprised you've never owned a deck by Leila & Olive before! They're so lovely and make me want to collect them all (I only have 2). Also Dawn Michelle has made me LOVE the Black Lily Tarot over the years, but I still don't have it - this might be the push I need to snag a copy!

Re: Tree Whisper corner rounding; I’ve seen it corner rounded and edged in orange and it looked amazing! I haven’t done it to mine, I’ve had my copy for a while and we’ve gotten used to each other just the way we are 😂 Craft Decadence is an amazing deck! I don’t have the Black Lily, but I’ve wanted it for years. You should do a video with it! Deck speed dating or something, where we can see what it might work well with.

Black Lilly is one of my favorites! I use it for shadow work and healing surrounding my physical body. It always brings me back down to ground

Dream Keepers is a favorite. I never connected it to Tarot of Mystical Moments until you mentioned it. They seem like they are related now that I really look at them. I do feel like MM is more gentle and DK is more matter of fact.

I just got Golden Keys of Gaia for my birthday and I love it so far! Just not sure what to pair it with yet, so I'd love to see you do a deck pairing/speed dating video with it at some point. I also got Steampunk Faerie - such a fun deck!

I think that is the power of the Dream Keepers Tarot to instantly bring you into a liminal place where you really do leave your self outside of the space. Its a great ancestor deck too

I rounded my corners on the Tree Whisperer Oracle. I always do that because the round corners take the deck from pretty pictures to a deck of cards. So, obviously, I love it. 😂

It's dark academia meets Practical Magic meets Outlander. There's time travel and also a lot of ties to Diana the goddess!

I end up with blank pages in the back sometimes and I’ll use them for other journal-related things, like brainstorming my next tarot studies or changes to my journaling practice. Yesterday I made a list of tarot decks that felt aligned energetically for day and night readings. I know I won’t lost the list now because I keep my old journals!

My feed was just full of doomsday videos this morning and then I saw you uploaded and I said, "oh, thank God!"

The dreams of gia box has an insert to keep the cards from flying around and getting damaged. I'm disappointed they are taking those out

First of all, it's funny meeting you and then realizing much later that we gel so well because we both have brains that work the same. Both the black and white thinking and transition issues are SO REAL. Transitions, especially. I get home and have to put on my noise canceling headphones immediately and go hide in a hole. Otherwise, I will absolutely have an autistic meltdown. And when my schedule changes, especially suddenly and without my input, I become the mayor of Meltdown City. I never thought of using my decks in this way, so thank you for sharing! That's such a unique way of looking at the Opposites deck, and now I want to try it. You have me thinking that we should do a "tarot and neurodivergence" Zoom discussion to post on our channels sometime, if you're ever up to it!

This was such a great topic. Thanks for sharing how you use these decks. When you were talking about transitions I immediately thought about when my kids were small. I always gave them a timeline to help them understand we were transitioning to something else. Their favorite phrase to say to me was, "five more minutes."
