@@zoundzpy I have one in a Bugbrand synth. They're both phasers. The LM has a built-in noise source plus it's internal modulation oscillator is a stepped sine with a slew control to smooth it out. You can patch into and our from the modulation oscillator. The LM can be it's own standalone generative instrument which is nice.

Probably as low as $1,000 for a 73-75 Serge by THC (used, no longer in production) to $4000+ for an original STS or Serge Modular Systems panel (paying a premium for the history). Most fall in between depending on what modules are in the panel, custom vs standard configuration etc). Can be cheaper if you build the modules/panel yourself. Kits/components available from CGS/Elby, Low-Gain Electronics, Prism Circuits, and a few others. Prism, Low-Gain, Loudest Warning, Random Source, offer fully built systems and can do custom work.

@@InFamousProductions not really "holy grail". Easily obtainable from various builders. They are really good though. Super flexible. But take some time to understand how to patch them.

@@JohnoWells heh. Most everything I post is "here, I made a thing" . I post as an archive of things I liked myself, not so much that I think anyone else needs to listen.But folks are welcome to listen. "Arranged track" or "Long form" starts going into deeper recording skills and tools. That's another whole realm. I have been toying with doing more "rehearsed" pieces that could be longer and less clip-like. We'll see where I land. In the meantime I'm glad you find some of my doodlings of interest!

@ you can show the full spectrum of Modular. It’s cool to have one night of music that can really showcase everything Modular can do. This was the missing link last night. Also I love that other piece of equipment I commented on because that is way cool as well. They both need some time on that stage for sure.

Thanks. You wouldn't be able to get the Radio Cage live radio broadcasts without some sort of radio tuner module. The rest is ring modulation, filters, oscillators,.... Which a BugBrand Chirper system could approach.
