Why does the lyrics sound like a depressed girl trying to find a reason to keep on living through men, and some of them do try to concole her but she gives up on them saving her and gives up on living ?

Beautiful imagery and the layers of harmony are lovely. I really like the synth in the background, reminds me of Owl City (my fave Western band) and makes me feel nostalgic.
