Absolute masterpiece of an album. Ridiculously underrated.

This is an excellent 2CD compilation with thirty two of their greatest hits in brilliantly remastered sound. An essential purchase for any Simple Minds fan. Buy it!

Was knocked out by this one, loved the band since 81 and found joy in all their albums. Think they made a great choice with Forsey after dropping down to a duo for a spell, Forsey really got so much out of them and helped craft an amazing sounding album.

I never knew Jim was an estate agent in his spare time.

I had a recording from Duesseldorf from 1984 where the started their gig also this way...but that one was mind-blowing.

Recorded in the bathroom by the sounds of it.

I remember walking into an HMV shop and Hypnotised was playing, blew me away. Went to the counter, asked for a copy and they only had the one that was playing. I said I don't care I want it!! So I bought it, there and then. Been a fan since Love Song, needless to say, ever since & got most of there stuff on vinyl, even a couple of test pressings. 🙂

Men out of time in 1995 - completely lost - grasping for a hit .. after slagging off Keith Forsey for a decade, they asked him to write and produce this album in a last ditch attempt for commercial relevance - and it bombed.
