Night Vision Skeet Shoot!!! After Action Report and Videos of Smashing Clays...
After action report from our Night Vision skeet shoot using nods and IR. We had some surprising results on equipment and tactics that worked well. Thanks to TGE for hosting us, and TGE and DJ_Skinny to capturing video. @SpicySnafu provided some of the closeups of my Remington 870 with EotTech EXPS and MAWL.

PEQ-15 vs MAWL- some thoughts for guys new to night vision
It may be worth it to some but I can't justify that price for a pistol with no major military history behind it. If I had 5k to drop on a pistol I'd go for a ww2 collectable. But that's just me.
To me no , to you I hope so lol 😂 nice looking gun man !
Awesome gun but worth it? Depends on the user I guess. You could trick out a Prodigy with internals and same externals and still not be over 5k. Before some soy boy says something about the Prodigy, shoot one that has been tricked out all the way for racing. Staccato no doubt is the Ferrari, but you can make a Corvette run just as fast with the right mods. All personal preference. 🤷🏾♂️
@@BrownSuga-cs2by my buddy did exactly this with a 4.25” Prodigy. He spent a ton of time learning and tuning the internals. I’d compare the final result as closer to a Staccato P. The integrated comp is kinda what makes the XC, but you’re right there’s a lot of good options out there these days!
Every staccato video is just dudes mag dumping the gun.
I can miss really fast with it. It’s very impressive lol!
Is it worth it”guess it depends on how much money u have 😂
Best value comped 2011 out there. If there’s one Staccato to buy and keep forever, it’s this one.
It really does hit a sweet spot in $/performance.
Bul is much better value
@@changeyourparadigm I have both, XC and a gen 2 bul tac pro 5” While the Bul holds its own against the XC and is an incredible value, the comp on the XC mitigates muzzle flip better and makes it a less aggressive recoil impulse during cycling. I’m comparing the XC to other comped mid to high tier 2011’s. Erebus, sandhawk, taran vipers and similar are all considerably more and arguably not better (except Erebus). And please don’t say prodigy comp 🤣. Bul will release the Tac pro comp, ported and comped next year for around 3k i’m guessing and that is quite exciting.
Just dont drop it lol
lol agreed
If you can afford it, Yes. An excellent gun made in the great State of Texas, Vet owned and operated. Targeted at shooters. Joe Mechanic, Joe Cop or GI Joe😅. I wish they were cheaper but I can justify paying my fellow Americans for an excellent product. My XC is set up the same way plus a Cheely agressive texture grip module. I cant stand slick (ish) grips anymore. I'm all about building freakish calluses from shooting. The Cheely agressive is a meat grinder . Just how i like it.😁
Yeah if I’m shooting, I’m wearing gloves. Too many hit things around, broken glass, twisted metal, brush, etc., and that’s just really training for the competition side. The exception is if I’m training on my carry pistol. Then I’m just going bare handed.
No
Looks like it gets used enough to justify the price. Is the wear legit? I want a stacato
It’s 100% real wear. Fake wear on guns is cringe lol. I’m between 20-30k rounds through it.
@mustangduckk awesome so id say its 100% worth it. I got the Tisas 1911 ds carry to hold me over until i can get a stacato. The Tisas is awesome though i definitely love that gun
@@MichiGUNderthere’s some really good budget options for both 2011 pattern guns and mags! I have the XC and a C2 and love them both, but if I had to pick one and done it would be a P.
@mustangduckk i was set on the xc but have never shot or even held a stacato thanks for the advice
HELL YEAH ITS WORTH IT!!!!!👍👍💥💥💯💯
Will it fire if you drop it? Then probably not.
mid ride holster for glock 17 gen 1 p80 (lefty) ?
Canik TTI Combat for 20% of the price and 90% of the performance.
lol no.
Is it the best? Maybe not. Is it one of the the coolest pieces of LARP gear for your AK? You bet your ass it is.
@@shockwave6213 it is pretty iconic and feels right at home on the Krink.
Red loctite and 20 inch-pounds
That and clean the threads and hole.
Pretty effin sweet dude🇺🇸
Thanks man!
People who have shot the XC and know how its made will say yes.
I just had the XC without all the goodies. It's a cheat code. If you're a decent shooter it makes you a great shooter. If you suck you still look good
@@michaelmcmillan2776 it’s a fantastic pistol for sure!
I think you're very blessed to be able to spend that kind of money on a pistol but I think you don't need it unless you're either you know a marine Navy SEAL Delta Force or an assassin I mean I would be happy with a new trigger on my g23 and ramjet system I'd rather my glock be a 9 mm but I'm 45 so that tells you a lot of things everybody was carrying 40 caliber when I was f****** 21 and older the cops the FBI the CIA everybody man I figure for 180 grain bullet compared to 130 grain bullet
lol I’m not high speed, just a competitor that enjoys building skills and being ready should the need ever arise. I tell people that hardware upgrades to fancy guns are worth it if it isn’t going to cut into your training and ammo budget. Someone that trains with their Glock will outshoot the guy with a 2011 that never gets used.
Man that XC is salty! Love it! Do you have an IG page for your run n gun and gear?
@@FCOD I don’t a clue where to start with insta lol. I really don’t do these videos for any kind of attention. Mostly hoping to jump start anyone new to the sport or thinking about giving it a try.
@@mustangduckk Thanks! Honestly was just curious because I was hoping to see more of that XC you got there!
@@FCOD I’ll definitely do a video zooming in on the XC. It might be the most favorite thing I’ve ever owned.
Yes. People that say no just can't understand until they run a course with one. Mine has a Leupold DP Pro and Surefire X300U and I adore it.
@@DTex.45ACP my buddy has a Leupold red dot on his Staccato P. He loves it.
Finally someone with a work horse XC instead of a safe queen!!!
Yeah it gets put through its paces. RnG and ColaWarrior will stress your gear. The XC has held up well.
Beat the shit out of a 5k gun. Wow
Yeah it gets around lol.
Definitely not a safe queen
M1 grand clip forever !!!!
You’re right I’m definitely going to redo the video with my Garand pinging lol
Hell yaaaah
On my screen it offers an option to translate this to English lol!!!
WAY BETTER!!!!
My shi looks like a banana with honey on it rn after hearing that
lol!
Way better
Or the sound of the m1 grand ping
I have a CMP SA Service Grade Garand in my safe that’s been itching to get out for the last little bit. You just gave me an idea for my next video!!
All day, err day
True but also so many more tf 😂
“Shut up bitch” (proceeds to make the angelic sound of gun shots)
This shit so stupid. SMH. Some hillbilly high school shit
Hellz yeah 👍
You right. But she also got a point…😋🤙🏻
To you? Yes. To me? No
I know one but this is a family show
lol!
Facts! But her voice is kind of turning me on 😂😂😂
Gloves?
If I’m shooting, I have gloves on. This for started when I got into suppressors and wanted to quick check my cans. Now if I’m competing, I’m wearing gloves. Dragging chains, sliding down ropes, forging through brush, they’ve saved me many times. They’re in my range bag, and I put them on when I shoot. The only time I don’t is when I’m shooting my ccw. That being said, my friends give me heck about it also lol!
Love my C2! RMR on top. It really is love. Haha
I carry a C2. It’s setup just like my XC, but with a TLR7. What a fantastic piece of equipment!
Best sound in the world
unmatched
We have a winner!!!!!!!
Could you please provide a link to the plain holster from Amazon?
Sure copy/paste into the search Amazon for "G19 Level 3 Retention Duty Holster for Gen 1 2 3 4 5 Glock 19/17/19X".
@@mustangduckk Thanks a lot!
It’s worth is a personal choice. There are some people who expect, respect and/demand quality or lack of for several reasons. Hobby and how serious you are at it and how you use it. Example for me is fishing. A zebco33 does everything I need it to do. Fly fishing’s a different story....I want an Orvis or LLBean; Professional tools for professional trades. Example is my shop is filled with harbor freight tools. I don’t need snap on. But I respect the quality and the professional that uses them. Guns and hunting, I demand quality because I hunt hard and need quality products. Lessor equipment fail. Period. Same with guns. I demand quality & reliability. Just as good more often than not, isn’t from my experience. Granted everyone doesn’t use their tools like a pro would. Some hunt w/in sight of the truck. Others hike in miles and miles before the hint even begins. And that’s okay. You’ll always have the just as good crowd. Great value vs aldi’s vs name brand, Kia vs jeep vs land cruiser 200series vs Tahoe. They all fit different people and their needs or demands. What’s it’s value to you? I’m not a 2011 fan. But I respect some manufacturers who take pride in hand building those tools. Mad respect too because it’s not a safe queen, you use it!
Some good points here. What I usually end up telling people, is that it’s a good purchase if it’s not going to cut into their ammo/training budget. If you can afford the high end stuff and maintain your training, it’ll increase your overall performance. But a well trained shooter with a Glock will outshoot someone with a fancy pistol sitting in the safe that they don’t shoot.
More solid info from a solid dude!!
Thank you! Hope to catch up at some events soon.
Any gun that costs 2000$ is not worth, you can get the same quality if you look to other reputable brands that offer products for cheaper that do the same thing.
Completely false. Anyone who has ever shot both high end and middle of the road guns will not believe your BS.
If it can make you money it is. If not, absolutely no.
