My Humble Knife Collection and Intro Video!
Slay
Dang for the price I want one I’ll make my own sheath!
Honestly I considered making my own when I bought it. Amazon just had a great bundle deal going so figured I’d try it out. Shockingly decent considering most companies don’t even have an option for a sheath at all.
@ I like the way it snaps in compared to most I’ve seen where you have to put it through a hole and it’s way more of a chore, like the estwings for example
I love watching u guys 🥰
Love mine, wish they will have men full zip hoodie soon
Me too!!! Also hoping they make a men’s high neck too.
U need to make fresh bread with honey butter
I’ll have to try it!!!
Outstanding ! 😂
To be honest, I still prefer the original Light My Fire knife. It’s more versatile overall, and the blade is more capable of food processing and more nimble carving tasks.
Mora, Best bang for the buck…..great video. 👍
nice video man, keep going 😄😄😄
Sorry, when you mentioned size, did you specify your height and weight?
My bad! I’m 5’11” and 150 lbs.
Thanks for postin this yo! Two things if you can, how is it in wind and maybe a bit of rain? If you've had the chance to test it out in those conditions?
I can’t say for sure for rain, but in snow it’s great! Still gets wet eventually, but doesn’t soak it up like a polyester sweatshirt would. In wind it’s alright. Nothing insane, but definitely a little warmer for sure. At least takes the bite off of it.
If I can suggest something, it would be to put more emphasis on the title of your video. Yes, you built a shelter. Did you sleep in it? If not, what was the point? If yes, review your experience. The review on everything you did is an important part for the viewer. Most want to learn from your mistakes. This was simply a video of bros hanging out in the trees eating teenage food. Keep it up though. Never be afraid to pursue your passion. Never be afraid to accept criticism. You live in an amazing place. If sharing content is important to you, develop a business plan and outline in that plan what it is you are trying to accomplish, who your target audience is, and what the next year looks like for goals and successes.
I appreciate the critique!!! I’ll keep all that in mind for future projects.
So it girl!
This ate!
keep doing your best
Slayyyyy!!!!!
Nice video man !
Sunrise and sunset are almost the same thing this time of year.
We better do another trip like this next week
Be sure to check out the full video of us building the camp and shelter!!!
I love seeing projects that you and I have worked on together in that notebook. Good memories, kid. I’m proud of you.
We ain’t done yet! I’m sure there will be many more doodles and plans to be worked on.
@ doodle me a mega garage or a wrap-around deck next! It seems like a magic notebook. Whatever goes in it gets built!
Don’t believe this man I am not making great content at all, he’s a sham!
This is a great video and I enjoyed it very much! I appreciate you showing wholesome ways that young people can spend time together doing something positive. I will be sharing this with young people in my family. It was nice to meet you with your yurt tour over at Mick's channel- thanks for letting us in to see where you live. I have always enjoyed yurts! A friend of mine in Michigan made a larger yurt and wanted to make it more sturdy and permanent. They put a deck all the way around, added a lot of insulation and thick wood siding on the outside. I wonder about how much insulation you have in those walls and exactly what they are made of? My friend's yurt is a lot larger. Half of it was divided into 3 rooms- 2 bedrooms & a bathroom. The other half is a big open living room and kitchen with windows and double doors that open out onto the deck, with a nice view of the woods. There are bear all around them but they have not really been bothered. I hope you will not be bothered where you live either! Please keep us updated if you are able to stay warm enough when it gets really cold. I enjoyed seeing you guys all together and showing some ways to be self-sufficient! I am curious about what went into the pan with water? Did you boil potatoes and carrots in it? Or did it turn into tea/coffee/hot cocoa? A little more detail next time would be really interesting! I do look forward to your next video. 👍🏼💙🫡🌅
I have to echo Sally. It's awesome seeing you young people having good, clean, wholesome fun and entertaining yourselves & not hanging out in bars or playing video games all day. I'm a Girl In The Woods, Bush Radical (and his brothers channel), Betting on Alaska and now your channel. Your yurt is pretty darn cool. I had no idea how strong they are. Good stuff! thanks for sharing!
I'm looking forward to a review on that hoodie! If you really like it, maybe you can leave us a link? Because I'm really thinking about looking it up right now… Thanks for this video!
For sure! I love it! Honestly one of my favorite pieces of clothing ever!!!
Just saw you over in Mick’s channel so I thought I’d subscribe to yours.
have u explored each others bodies
This was a great video, and I echo the comment about a better camera or better upload quality. And I have to ask: did you all actually fit in that wee shelter?
Sure did lol! It was tight, but we’ve done trips with a one man tent together before.
@@FarNorthEDC Now that's a real survival skill lol. Keep up the good work
Hey love the vid. Only request is if u can get a better camera, the vid is mildly grainy but other than that keep up the hard work man
To me it looks more like the video was exported at a lower quality, could be wrong though
Can you get a better camera???? Wtf.
I was there, he’s just go smudges on his damn lense smh
Very cool.
I want you on my team when the balloon goes up. :)
Somewhere seems uninterested in everything you’re doing.
I know this isn't what you were doing, but I feel like you were casually threatening your dog during this video :P
lol!
White river heat treat for magnacut is 62-63
Knive came out killer were u able to get centered up? Do you still have the orange liners?
What is that Husky bit driver? Looks nice, and I can’t find a trace of it online anywhere lol
Just bought it at Home Depot! Just a cheap little kit.
Damn good job bro I like your style. I bought the ursus 45 and I love it I want the smaller one as well
Damn. You just convinced me to get one of these knives. Thanks for the demo
Sweet video, man! Looking into the Cub now. I already have a 45 and love it!
Good review. I have the full version--the Ursus 45 and love it. I can't wait to get this one to complete the set. I like the multi-colored handle. I also love that it is done with Magnecut steel. It doesn't bother me about the back not having a 90-degree spine. I don't use my knives on a fire steel anyway. I would carry both with me on camping trips. If I get into a situation the full version has a sharp spine all the way back.
63 HRC seems to be the target.
Awesome review. I’m a fan of of the Ursus Cub. You mentioned wanting something a little bigger and a sharper spine, you might really look into the White River FC5, the FC series has probably one of the sharpest spines I’ve ever used
Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll definetly look into those.
How thick are the scales? Thanks
Nice review, man! Those scales are beautiful…
Thanks! And yes they really are!
i will take 3v over mag anyday
3V is a great steel!!! Can’t beat it for overall toughness for sure!!!
Why? There’s literally no reason to choose 3v in a blade profile like this. Magnacut has a little better edge holding, much better edge strength/stability, much better corrosion resistance, isn’t that much less tough at all and in fact plenty tough enough for about any knife, and it’s at least as easy to sharpen as 3v. All this at like 3 rc points higher on the hardness scale makes it a real winner imo
3v could never support a thin and hard grind like magnacut can. Doesn’t have great edge stability
@@ShoahBiz my opinion im entitled to it
So it's about entitlement and not about a good arguments? Well then. Have fun being entitled. 👍🏻
Thanks. Hopefully they make the larger 45 is magnacut
I agree!!!
huh get a clue
They do, you can find it on their website
@ thanks man. I was able to score one 👍🏻
That leather sound is crisp
Legit!
i've just found your channel and of course I have subscribed, great video and great content! I also have a couple advices about this knife review\test (from a one that watched bilion of these types of videos): -zoom on the knife sometimes to see how it perfoms while doing tasks -at one point during the video talk about the lenghts and weight of the knife (write them on video also) -maybe it would be more entertaing if you do multiple types of testing(with wood, food, rope etc..) Greetings from Italy 👋
Thanks for the advice!!! Working on a few projects now that hopefully incorporate this!
@@FarNorthEDC glad to hear that 👍🏻 keep it up !!
Nice knife
No se ve el cuchillo, tomas muy lejos,no se ve nada, mal revision
Thanks for the input! I’ll use that info to improve future videos!!!
