It’s not ! I’ve tried both shoes before, GT cut 2 drop in is a lot thicker and has a small air unit in the heel.

It's not a "full bed of adidas boost" , it's just a puck in the heel. The forefoot is the same dog shit 0 compression. And boost is one of the more resilient foams on the market, it takes a good while for them to bottom out, even more so when it's fully encased in a carrier as it is here.
everybody is different 🤷🏾♂️ most of my adidas will begin to bottom out after 2-3 months of 4x a week play. That’s why I get the orthotic to try to curve that. Appreciate the view & input 🙌🏾

It doesn’t pick up as much dirt but you will be wiping to get the traction to bite the court. I’m sure after you break them in they’ll do just fine 💯

How was the fit/sizing between the two? I got a size 12 in the 2 but that curve in the forefoot starts to hurt my pinkie toe after a while, kinda like the Zion 1 did. Never got the first GT Cut but I'm tempted to pull the trigger on them.
GT Cut 1 is worth it. True to size, perfect shoe. GT cut 2 sizing is a little weird I say go up an entire size. The cheap upper mixed with the heel gives me the same problem mixed with my foot numbness.

I want to love the 2s though ! Especially because you can actually get them, just can’t get past how cheaply made they are 🙃🙃🙃. Otherwise I think the tech is superior than the 1s.
