WTF super glue no never ever. Also use wire connectors never ever just twist together and tape. In addition if you’re going to solder the wires together learn the proper way to solder. You need to tin each wire first then solder them together not just drop a blob of solder on cold wires.

Thanks bro for this video. You provided the bulb type so I ordered regular white led ones and put the orange cover from the original bulb to keep it factory color. Your video showed how to remove the gear shift, clip and panel. This sure helped before tackling the job. BTW - I put the led bulb in and tested it before reassembling as the led bulb was polarity specific and did not light up so simply switched it the other way and it lit up. Thanks again.
