What is the queueing action like on your tonearm? I just purchased a gold note Giglio with a B7 arm. The damping on the queueing is almost non-existent, or very stiff. With other high-end arms that I have owned such as SME, one flip of the cueing lever, and the arm should lower slowly onto the record. With my B7 queueing, if I was to flip the queueing lever down, the arm would drop suddenly without any damping. However, if I nudge the cueing lever slightly to approximately halfway and let go, then the arm lowers slowly. Do you know if this is because there might be an airlock in the damping chamber? Is there something I can do to correct this, if correcting is possible? Or is this poor queuing just part of the Gold Note B7 design? A real shame if it is.

You should let the arm continue from the inner label to the outside as that is the fluid flow direction... you are going to have issues with the midpoint of the record because of left residue.

Boring demo music yet again

The process shown in this video does not follow the manufacturers instructions so is not a good example of how to use the machine.

Robert Young I have a version 4 Loricraft. It does a great job cleaning records. As per the instructions that come with the machine, the cleaning fluid needs to soak the record for five minutes before it is vacuumed up. It takes me about 15 minutes to clean a record. The long soaking time is needed to get older dirty records clean. I do a distilled water rinse cycle after cleaning the record. It’s some effort but relaxing to me if not in a rush. Great customer service from SME and their American distributor. I’m happy with the Loricraft!

Let's hear some modern pop with heavy bass. Listening to neutral music for the mid range and high end doesn't do these speakers justice.
