I absolutely love Old Speckled Hen! I remember having it for the first time about 15 years ago in NYC and any time I can find it now I grab one. Of course we don't get it where I live unfortunately. Great review! Awesome that you can get it for the PD! Cheers Don! 🍺

Nice review. This beer has become iconic in a way, in spite of having only been brewed since 1979. I've had the bottled version and it was quite enjoyable. I can only imagine how good it is on cask. Cheers and Happy New Year Don!🍺

I've known this beer for 40 years and not once I've seen of heard of it being a Pale Ale..summat wrong there..its a malty type Bitter although not the beer it was its still a good reliable pint in the pub..Happy slurping Don🍺👍

I have never seen a collab between 3 trappist breweries. That is a really cool find. Good job opening that bottle. When I open bottles like that the cork usually flies off never to be seen again! That is a nice looking bottle. Glad to hear it is as good as the bottle looks!
