Note: Zero gets some minor exclusive dialogue throughout the storyline to have characters say things like "you two" or "Alpha and Beta". However, these are minor enough that I decided not to include them.

Follow-up note: Forgot to include it in the video, but at 3:54, Shade will say "..." like in the generic script, but he doesn't get the dialogue at the Six Path Crossway, nor does he ask Fenelle whether he's in Grandis. Weirdly enough, Fenelle will still say "You are correct. You must be from Maple World," even though Shade doesn't ask her any questions.

Note: This storyline only covers the default revamped Heliseum storyline, as well as the exclusive quests for Kaiser, Angelic Buster, and Cadena. All other Grandis classes share the default revamped storyline, as well as a unique intro and outro quest with Beldar. Because these intro and outro quests were unchanged in the revamp, I decided not to cover them. Hi! I’m an old MS veteran who started playing again really casually a couple years ago. Thanks so much for saving this gem of a storyline before it was ruined. I took a break earlier this year from the game and I’m heartbroken they eviscerated Shade’s story. The original way it played out really moved me to tears so many times and showed how much care could be put into this silly game that used to have no story at all. I’m a little reluctant now to continue where I left off (I got my shade to the end of Lucid’s area at least) so I really appreciate you chronicling what they had before. Thanks so much ❤

Some lore notes about Sayram and the war from 300 years ago: - Sayram's lore (minus the parts about Aurelia and his other comrades) comes from the pre-Big Bang Warrior 4th job skill storyline, which was later adapted for this story. - The war from 300 years ago was first mentioned in pre-Big Bang lore, then later in 2011 during Phantom's class story, in which he speaks with Alcaster and finds Aurelia's journal in Orbis Tower (although Aurelia wasn't named at the time). Alcaster notes that all records about the war were destroyed long ago, and it's confirmed that Lotus, whose spirit could possess others, was responsible for erasing historical records in Maple World and possibly even inciting the war in the first place. - The war got another mention in the post-Ignition Cygnus Knight storyline, in which it's revealed that the Noblesse - the precursors of the Cygnus Knights - went extinct in that war. - Although it's not KMS canon, Skuas Fortress in MONAD Act 3 was said to have been an impregnable fortress instrumental in stopping the war from 300 years ago, and it's very possible that KMS drew from overseas lore and incorporated it into canon.

NGL, I'll miss that ancient Black Mage cutscene. Back when he was a lore only character that we had no hope of even encountering much less defeat.

ah, you truly are a hero, I was going to have to replay the old shade and aran story quest before they updated them, but then Heroes aren't available in Grand Athenaeum and I wasn't going to level two chars to 200 just to delete them afterwards... so this helps... a lot you seem to have included wow, everything! even cernium exclusive dialogue! and you have done the same with aran, I appreciate it, truly sure, the video quality would have been better at 1080 but that doesn't really matter much... it's still readable :)

the new story did her justice. the voice acting is incredible, the story remains intact, and the characters are SO MUCH BETTER then what they were. eskelade is actually likable, cartalion feels like a real general and not like a sick pedophile, and the aftermath felt touching

that tutorial sequence really brings back memories. this class was probably the first time the game really started trying out some new aspects (unlike cygnus knights), and back then it worked perfectly.

Seren's VA is so good, I love her... and the character too. She's like one of the only Grandis characters that I actually care about. Although, I only got to Shangri-la so far. Also, I did not expect Mitra to sound like that. I thought he'd have like a dudebro voice or something.

At 1:43:18, there is a GMS localization error that mistakenly has Cadena state that she wants to take a closer look at Hazard's bosses, Magnus and Darmoor. The correct KMS dialogue should be Cadena stating that she wants to meet the Shadowdealers' boss (the leader of the Shadowdealer High Council).

I genuinely love Mitra for how unhinged he is and to top it all off with a great design omggggg

Thanks for recording this, I loved that the light is different for each character, as a nice little way to see who was important in each of the heroes' lives to help show them their reasons for fighting the darkest, and that there was always light within to help them. Nice to see Jett before they removed her, I am sad that they did, was a fun class. Thanks for archiving this little bit of Jett lore for others to see.
