New Teeth Now Changed My Life in One Day
Michele was eager to take a bite of pizza at a downtown restaurant - a pleasure she didn’t indulge in for years due to her failing front teeth.
“I would never bite into anything because whenever I did, they would wiggle and feel loose. … “I had been to other dentists and they had told me, ‘Within five years, you’re going to lose all your teeth, and you have no bone to support your teeth.’”
Internet research led Michelle to New Teeth Now, where she learned about zygomatic implants and how they could make full mouth dental implants possible for patients with severe bone loss.

    If someone has psychiatric issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, etc, is there any possible complications, especially when waking up?

    • @NewTeethNow
      @NewTeethNow Месяц назад

      Typically, the potential complications are no different than for someone without those issues as long as the patient is well-controlled and continues to take their regularly-scheduled medications.

    I totally understand how you felt .I've literally turned into a recluse.Its been three years now and I'm alone all the time, I have no life and I'm sure I'll be alone forever with my mouth the way it is!So I understand 😭😭😭!! What hurt me the most is when my son told me to never come to his school functions rather sports or whatever because, the kids made horrible fun of him that he got bullied.So my Aunt went to everything and our relationship crumbled so bad that he left and moved in with her, and begged for custody all because of my teeth.My teeth were destroyed due to an accident.When you have bad teeth people automatically think your in drugs it hurts so bad im so lonely..I almost took myself out, so im a hardcore recluse.. I have insurance,but it doesn't cover cost fully..I pray for a miracle daily!! I'm also disabled from the same accident that caused my horrible and horrifically painful teeth.. If anybody knows of anything that I could do please let me know!! I'll do my very best to be a lifetime living billboard, and I'd never not smile! I'd give and do about anything at this point!! Id literally go on news stations, run advocate social media accounts promoting heck whatever!! Lastly I'll pay slowly but surely..Think my insurance covers 3,000$..I need almost full mouth implants I think..I just pray that God touches someone's heart hopefully so that i can go from the ground to the sky and fly again willingly.. It's amazing how teeth alone can change a person's life either for the better or in my case the worst.I really miss smiling. I miss dressing up and beautifying myself and being present.. P.s.Just in case an Angel feels me, any and all encouraging words are accepted God Bless..I was shot five times and stabbed four.Beaten so horrifically. I can remember swallowing my own teeth.. So that's the accident slightly summarized..Other parts are to graphic to go into details on here so yes Thanks to anybody who reads this and sends prayers to up for me🫂😇🥲

    What if someone has mental health issues, such as anxiety/panic attacks, depression, OCD, etc, would any of those have an impact on the effects of general anesthesia/how someone reacts when they wake up?

    • @NewTeethNow
      @NewTeethNow 2 месяца назад

      It is quite common for patients to have any one or a number of mental health issues as you’ve described, and most patients do very well. Patients will continue taking the medications that they are prescribed for managing those conditions up until surgery. Some of the medications typically prescribed for managing these conditions may require alteration in the types of medications and dosages that are given during anesthesia, but this can be anticipated when the patient provides an appropriate medical history. It is also important with full-arch implant cases to understand that mental health issues can also impact a patient’s expectations and perceptions as well.

      Recovery varies from person to person! While the procedure itself is pain-free because patients are under general anesthesia, we do provide pain prescriptions for several days following the procedure. Most patients only need a combination of Tylenol and Advil following surgery, and are surprised by how little pain they experience. Most patients are back to their normal daily routine within 4-7 days.

    Thank you so much for replying to everyone because I know I won’t waste my question. I have some minor swelling on a back tooth that’s cracked and is already mostly filled with a filling. And I have no teeth for a bridge behind it. It’s not noticeable but, it will be if I have to lose 3 teeth in a row? I really, really don’t want a partial (this is my assumption). Based on what I said, is there hope for me to do a root canal with a crown? Implant if not? Will dentek temporary filling in the crack along with dental hygiene practice give the swelling time to heal? I know you don’t want to guarantee anything because you’d have to examine it for yourself. Just please do the best you can to answer. Thanks so much in advance.

    • @NewTeethNow
      @NewTeethNow 4 месяца назад

      Hello! Of course, you would need to go to your local dentist for a consultation first. But both those options may be possible. After a CT scan, a crown may be possible if the tooth can be saved. If it cannot, an implant could be placed. We do not place traditional crowns here but we do place single implants if that is an option!

      Yes if the toxic mold was the cause of the periodontal disease, the periodontal disease effects remain the same, and the only way to fully remove it is to remove the teeth themselves.

    My experience... I had mine done two years ago. The chair I was sitting in was literally rattling because i was shaking so much from my nervousness. My surgeon spent a very long time sitting with me and answering all of my questions, i was very lucky to have such a patient physician. I felt the IV go in, and i felt the usual coolness of a drip (if youve ever had fluids, you know.) i was sitting there telling myself that soon I won't remember any of this, just close your eyes and soon it'll all be-- And now im in the middle of a conversation in the recovery room. The surgery ended 40 minutes ago. Its really like a camera angle change in a movie. You dont even notice the change, but now youre in a different spot. You still know where you are and whats going on, but your short term memory is completely gone. So you cant remember that the surgery is over, and you can't remember what youve been talking about for the past 40 minutes, but you know youre in the hospital and you know how to hold a conversation. Then as the drugs wear off you'll slowly remember things better and better and "wake up" even though you're well awake. Do you remember waking up this morning? Not really- you just slowly become aware. Its pretty much the same thing. Anyway, the recovery was pretty easy and uneventful. Swollen, a bit bruised, and then fine after a few weeks. The only part no one told me about was the bone spurs. When they take out your teeth it leaves sharp bits of bone that jut through your gums. They were weird to feel and look at, but they eroded/crumbled away after like 1 1/2 months.

    So the ads for permanent teeth and 24 hours are just a scam?

    • @NewTeethNow
      @NewTeethNow 8 месяцев назад

      If you see an ad for a permanent set in that time frame, exercise caution. They may not be providing their patients with the necessary resources and time needed for the best outcome. As Dr. K explained in the video, it is more cost effective for the clinic to provide final teeth within that time frame. It is not the best option for the patient to go that route. We provide patients with a healing set the day of the procedure and the final set after healing has been monitored by the restorative team. Give us a call if you'd like more detailed information about the process.
