Hi man, just stumbled across this video and thought it was a meme video but upon watching i know now its a serious application to Hololive. This video's intention may not be to look for critique but i just want to throw in my two cents, especially now that HoloStarsEN debut a month ago. First things first, you look a little too serious, not that confident in yourself and stating promises that are difficult to back. I don't know much about your streaming history but most members of Hololive are streamers/creators that were successful with a large fanbase established. You NEED that experience to even be considered. Next is talents and skills because aside from streaming and talking most members have something they are good at or a niche that make them unique, some are good gamers, do ASMR, some are good at improv/comedy, singing and some are good at drawing. You seem genuine in your desire to be a HoloMember and that's admirable, however you need to up your game and build up a portfolio to present to management. I wish you good luck in your dreams and maybe the stars will align.

hey I figured u might be trying out for the hololive male en 1st gen generation that just came out a couple days ago so I thought id give you a tip and just some general things. 1. Your audition video is not actually supposed to be of you/your personal goals. You essentially want to make a fake character and pretend/show how you would debut/introduce said fake character you come up with. This is essentially to give them an idea of your voice and of your creativity. I think you just misunderstood the prompt a little bit. (using other hololive debutes as an example can help but dont copy!!! make it your own!) (try making something unique!!! having your character as a cat boy or vampire doesnt show your creativity because a lot of male vtuber cat/vampire boys already exist!!) 2. all vtubers are premade so if they hear your voice and personality and dont think it will match one of the premade vtubers they wont choose you. (so dont take it as just because u didnt get it your audition is bad) 3. Maybe try some new voices :3 and act very confident and be happy! 4. please please please keep trying!!! for some of the vtubers in hololive it took them many many tries!!! dont give up! I really hope you will try out! if you have any question or need help dont be afraid to hit me up

Not trying to be harsh but, Hololive is basically a girl group only. Holostars are the male versions, and they said they wont be making a EN version, sadly.

Bit late, but I do believe the Auditions that happened were not for Holostars. Only for Hololive as Hololive is an all-female only group and there were doing second rounds for the EN side of it. The application did say gender is irrelevant but I think that is because there are some boys out there capable of doing female voices just fine. The VSinger auditions they did also had similar criteria but was still basically female voices, so I think this EN round was just for Hololive as it states. Hololive and Holostars may exist under the same Hololive Production company but are ultimately still their own 2 groups. Maybe one day we will see a HolostarEN audition open up. While the Hololive auditions may never directly say that holostars are not part of their audition process, they do infer it quite a lot in their twitter and reddit posts, as well as the overall title being all about Hololive which again is specifically stated to be "All-Female". I have wanted to apply myself for becoming a holostars member but just waiting for an audition specifically for the holostars side of their groups if they ever do one which I hope they do. I even tried contacting Cover Corp directly to inquire if they ever plan for a HolostarEN group but so far with no luck in a response.
