I think, Sir's prediction regarding the cutoff seems to be accurate. He has a knack for analyzing such details meticulously. His insights are always well- researched and presented in a structured manner, which makes them highly reliable. It's evident that he has a thorough understanding of the factors influencing cutoff trends, allowing him to make informed predictions with confidence. His ability to organize and articulate these insights is truly commendable, contributing significantly to our understanding of the situation.

You will be surprised this year when UPSC will declare results. Many students are not gonna clear CSAT this time too. For GS 1 .. Creamy students are above 90 or 95, but you should analysis cutoff by last standing soldier in the list. Cutoff will be around 80-85.

Mjhe lagea tha bohut acha gya paper.. lekin jab ghar aake dekha to bohut sara negative hua.. i thought i will easily cross 100 with 27-30 wrong answers.. but it 34 wrong answers... I think many of the candidates would have observed the same.. there are so many silly mistakes ... But crying now is not a solution as nothing will change.. i think the cutoff will be between 83-88...

You are playing safe, Sir. GS 1 was relatively easy, I agree, but not that easy that it will shoot the cutoff further above. It was on the lines of 2022, when despite less vacancies, cut off clocked almost 88, marginally higher than that of 2021. And this year it was in line with 2022. It's easy to solve the paper when you are not in the exam Hall . Pressure of that moment at times sways towards wrong options despite knowing the correct answer. It will bring down the cutoff by 4 marks from the 90+ you've predicted. This year comprehension were tough (17-19) , almost non guessable , where in 2023 there was scope for guess in Comprehension, maths was lengthy though. This time maths was moderate and comprehension were on the tougher side, this will again bring down the cutoff by 4-6 marks. Even being lenient, I can easily say 8 marks already down from the cutoff you predicted (reduction from 90-96 to 82-88). Yes candidates were less tensed this time because they have absorbed the shock last year. It will be in the range of 80-88 (I'm being objective though, with less severe scrutiny of paper). Let's see what happens 🙂
