Question, I'm new to kds and i got a friend to buy a dwelling key as well but we are completely lost as to how to host each other. It wants a room key, and shows a password box but we don't know where to find this information. We both bought basic digital dwelling keys. How do I host a game?

You're resolving damage incorrectly. A monster can only wound as many locations as attack dice rolled. So if an attack has speed 2, damage 3, lets say both hit. You roll 2 location dice and apply 3 damage to each location. You do not roll 6 location dice and spread the damage out all over the character's body. If you rolled the waist and legs, if neither location was wounded, the waist would go to a heavy injury (1 from armor, light, then heavy). The legs would go from light, heavy, to severe. I played this wrong at first too, but spreading the damage like that makes your survivors way tougher than they should be.

Butcher is a snowball fight. Really needs to protect the damage soaking survival so he or she doesnt dies, whenever one falls, the entire showdown is most likely basically over.😂

How to open the door on the second floor? Or it cannot be opened.

Hi, I’m new to kingdom death and I just started playing the sim, thanks for showing me the ropes by the way, but now I haven’t a clue on where to record slain monsters. I looked on the fan wiki and it seems like my settlement sheet is missing a large section. Am I missing something? Also I didn’t know where else to ask so sorry if this is strange

Just in case anyone doesn't know, at the time of writing this you can set up a hunt in the menu on your settlement sheet.

Any reason why you didn't go for the automatic critical hit to get the +1 strength?

So im fully invested into KD but havnt made it very far (using core game only). I dont seem to have the time and i kind of suck at it. Anyway, would you recommend adding GC or play more core +/- expansions? Im ok playing more core. There is much for me to do.

Holding shift while press numkeys just makes the camera move for me instead of picking up hit location dice. Has this changed recently?

I just found your channel a few weeks ago and i love it. Between you and Bra Mithra's channel i think I have all the KDM content i need on youtube, seriously lol. There's a severe lack of KDS vids on YT and you have the absolute best.

I love how everything in the KDM has this duality/excess thing going on...like the game itself is dark as hell from the minis, to the art, to the lore, etc..but then you open the rulebook and it looks like an iPhone manual and has this cleanliness to it. Then you have the excess part i mentioned where the design of creatures are mindboggling and confusing, also the sheer amount of stuff offered in the game, but then you also are given everything you need to play the game for years in the core box...and i have also always liked the design of the female characters in the game too (i know it turns a lot of people off) But I've always felt that with all this gore and terror and crazy unspeakable horror crap going on at any one moment, they provide a sense of "softness" a contrast to all of that, but still with the excess mentioned earlier for obvious reasons lol ;) ..

Love your videos and Channel! What sleeves does your group use? Recommend any for this monster?

Question- don't the rules say playing solo you don't use the monster controller bonus?

Do we get to choose the level of the quarry to hunt or is it stated in the settlement timeline thing to hunt the lvl 1 version?

I like the "boring" and "rambly" videos, could listen to you talk about being excited to play for hours.

Do the vignettes of death require base game?

It's wonderful to see all the care and dedication you put into these videos. We realize that your love for KDM is as great as ours.

The vagabond armor set card came with either beyond the wall or before the wall, it involves the ivory arm armor which has never had a method to make it, bit it can all be substituted with Leather armor. Edit: the white dragon gauntlets, not ivory.

Finally picked up a copy. I am so excited. This "expansion" looks beautiful.

l love that we're getting a full pokemon evolution of butchers between this, the core version, and the ancient butcher in campaigns of death.

Great video, i am also excited to see FrogDog. As much as i like Black Knight as an overall expansion, i cant help but feel like the sculpt is a bit too tame and FrogDog is just the right amount of insanity.

I bought this Vignette as well. Glad to see what's inside as mine will likely stay unopened for a while.

Another great overview of new content. I was lucky enough to have this arrive incredibly quickly as well. Looking forward to getting it to the table (after breaking out the paint brushes). Will be interesting to see if they remove some of the restrictions around strains in COD
