Yes xenoverse has its own installation process. As of now mods aren’t available on the current game version so right now it goes like this 1. Downgrade the game to version 1.21 2. Install the xenoverse 2 patcher and installer 3. Install mods from the modsite on VGM You can find xenoverse mods on nexus but you still need to install this stuff first.

I go into this in the second half but basically you’re just going to install xenoverse 2 again, with this you’re going to need enough storage for another Xenoverse 2. 1. Change the name of the Xenoverse 2 directory (it could be anything but I just call it Xenoverse 2 modded) 2. Copy your save file and paste it into a safe folder ( I just call mine old version backup.) 3. reinstall xenoverse 2 or update it from steam, if you change the name of your modded directory it won’t effect your mods just be sure when you’re using installers that you’re using the right directory. 4. Once you update your going to want to keep your new save file and switch to the old one whenever you play the modded version or the new save if you’re playing on the current version.

Don’t delete the HUM folder and how does it bug out? Is it an infinite load screen or something else?

@@TheHomiErikModding no it would just stop any of the hairs from transforming. I would have to delete the entire contents of the HUM folder and reinstall the mod to get just the hair transformations back. I somehow fixed it though by deleting contents of hum folder, uninstalling all my mods and reinstalling them all again, now I have custom hairs and all working lol.

@@KyGamingUnderground oh yeah a clean install will probably fix any issues you might have but it’s just inconvenient 😂

You have to downgrade

1. Get Xenoverse 2 on steam 2. Downgrade to 1.21 3. Install the xenoverse 2 patcher and installer

Then just install the patcher and play ig 🤷‍♂️

Is your game moddable? There shouldn’t be any issues with the installation if you have the patcher and xv2ins working.

Either you didn’t downgrade correctly or your using the wrong patcher. You need to be on version 1.21 and patcher/ins 2.4

Either you didn’t install the patcher properly or you didn’t downgrade properly. Boot up your xenoverse 2 from the bin folder look at the bottom right corner of the screen to see if the version it should be 1.21 and have XV2 Patcher next to it

@@sheluvzisgay9615 okay you’re going to have to update again, Then verify the integrity of the game files. Once that’s done try the downgrade code again wait for it to say depot complete before you copy and paste anything in the folders.

Actually is a 10 dollar dlc for 2. It used to be switch exclusive because they didn’t get xenoverse 1 but they decided to just make it its own dlc.

As long as it doesn’t say it failed just wait. Don’t open the depot folder while it’s downloading or else you have to do it again.
