which bin file do i install?
I just bought unit the other day. Followed all instruction on wiring and installed. Turned right on and seemed good but driving to work it just went back for 20 minutes and then turned itself back on when I got to work. At end of day it fired right up but then went black again after a few minutes till I got home and then it came back on. Have you seen that at all? Not sure if there is a loose wire, or if not enough power is getting to unit. Thanks for any feedback or tips!

I don't understand why all these manufacturers and even OEM car radios favor the goddamn Apple car play. I mean, yeah, there are a lot of people with iPhones, but there's also a lot of us who like Android. So why not designing these things for both mobile OSs right off the bat??
I am huge fan of single dins and they are truly undervalued after huge screen stereos invaded the market. When it is going to be available in Europe? Waiting asap.

@@mjfx328but as far as i know, USA’s and Europe’s radio frequency systems are different. In the past, I have bought a radio from USA, but only limited channels were working.
What the heck Power Acoustic, we did this update the the whole unit just shut off and would not start anymore.. What the heck.

@@Belizeit818 it's hit or miss. My personal one was good. I helped a buddy out and it just fried his deck. Reached out to Power Acoustic for a replacement. Just gotta send the bad one in. Worked great ever since.
same issue here screen goes black but backlit. never bootscreens to update ! any fix?
@@michaelhoward600 I'm talking to their tech rn. Seems to be the USB being the issue. They asked me to send it in and they'll send me one with the Android auto already installed. And they want to go over my head unit to figure it out.

So I bought this. Updated it. But disconnects randomly, cut music from notifications that I don't even see ans the android auto just lags sometimes I can't even go into customize "can't access while driving" when I'm literally parked. 3.8 1/2 stars could be better on software side if the processor and ram are weak
Where can i get the update?
Anyone has issue with this update? It look like the update takes, but the system never reboots and if I turn off the car/power then turn it back on, the screen of the HU goes kinda nuts. I have turn off the car/power once more, but I don't see any option for Android Auto...

I had the same issue. Unit rebooted to a black screen and when I shut the car off and on again, the screen gets garbled, the system reboots/resets, but the firmware doesn't update. I fixed this by copying only the update folder, ISPBOOT.BIN file, and the st25mcu.bin files to the USB drive and deleting/ignoring the files starting with an underscore (i.e. do not copy all files from the zip to the USB drive). After that, I was able to successfully complete the update.

No option to set LEDs to orange. @PowerAcoustik1550, can we make this an option? Would match S2000 backlight and I think E36 BMW as well.
@@roby827 Dang, yeah E36 (Z3 here) is all orange. It would be super dope to have a color picker or independent R/G/B values inputs since the E36 is kind of a red-leaning orange. Though I would definitely settle for orange!

Has your carplay also been cutting in and out sometimes? I had it happen on the wired connection too

I bought two pair of these. They lasted about four months. Had them hooked up to a Power Acoustic MA4-3000D 4-channel marine amp. Two months in one set developed bad wire connections from the soldered terminals on the cones inside. I repaired the connection with solder. It worked for a while,then the same thing happened to the other set. Overall not a good quality product.

Hey Powe Akoustik people. I have a Rockville k9 12 with dual 4 ohm coils. I used one of these and wired my subwoofer down to 2 ohms and was very impressed with the output. I decided to run a second one so I have 1 for each coil @ 4 ohms. I understand that it makes considerably less power at 4 ohms, but it's a little more than half. So, 2 amps at 4 ohms should beat 1 amp at 2 ohms and give me more headroom in theory. This wasn't the case. If anything, it has slightly less output and slightly less fidelity. I am wondering if the rca y-cables I used may be dividing the voltage of my preamps? Lemme know. I sub'd so.........

these are great only problem is motor is to short add 1 more slug and a 1/2" more winding to voice coil and it really wakes them up .

The 7500 watt amp is good, pushing 2 Kicker 12 inch Q Class.. Flexes hard.. I recommend this amp..
