As you said in this video people love hating what's popular, but I on the other hand love the games and pokemon people hate on. Except Jynx and Chespin fuck those. SWSH was very good, I love Scovillain, Brambleghast and I've even heard people hating on Spidops which I also love.

Am I the only one who thinks SWSH was amazing. Sure the graphics were weak, and there's Scorbunny and its line. But overrall I feel like it was a great game.

Why no one considers Togetic as Falkner's Ace? It's a bird, it's not that strong and you get a Togepi egg right after 1st badge?:-) since it's frenship evo it can even be low level.

Wimp Out is a terrible ability to have on a starter pokemon, and the 7/8 chance of not being able to evolve your Fire starter is another problem. But holy cow seeing your proposed Alola starters posed together like that? That's an anime poster right there. Big protagonist trio energy.

Arcanine would’ve been too op as a starter

Sunflora: +20 Special Attack, give it Flash Fire Magcargo: Lower evolution level to 28, give it Solid Rock over Magma Armor and let it learn Power Gem and Meteor Beam. Ariados: +40 Speed, +10 Attack, Stakeout instead of Sniper. Lugia: Lugia is fine, it needs no buffs.

Wigglytuff: Fur Coat, +20 Special Defense and Moonblast Aerodactyl: Head Smash (it's not a bird so it shouldn't get Brave Bird) Flareon: Swap Special Attack and Speed, give it Blaze Kick. Optionally replace Guts with Fluffy/Fur Coat. Mewtwo: Change Unnerve to Intimidate.

Your gen2 starters also has the added bonus of having a backyard garden theme

First off, I get why you made the decision you did for gen 4, but I’d like to propose an alternate grass, fire, water trio. I think Budew, Azuril, and Magby can work as a traditional trio if you are ok with them being grandfathered in by being added baby forms.

I went with the original Gen 1 types. Steel, Dark and Fairy were not somewhat included but, will be added. Electric was used twice. Brock rock/flying Misty water/ice(or fairy) Lt. Surge electric/fighting Erica grass/normal Koga poison/bug(or dark) Sabrina psychic/ghost Blaine fire/electric Giovanni ground/dragon(or steel)

4:19 sure make misty an ice/water specialist and give her no ice types. Sheller and Seel start mono water. I know there aren't any early game options for ice but you chose ice

Though steel does work for reasons you stated i Definitely think fighting for LT surge. Considering his military background I think having electabuzz and raixhu having fighting type moves on then as well as an addition like pawmot or iron hands would make sense. Boltund/manetrik for a military dog vibe too.

Yeah Sure, Put Broke a Steel Gym Leader in PKMN Red&Blue, it will work very well in a gen 1 where it doesnt exists. + in Gen 2, you got Jasmin that girl Specialized in Steel as a Gym Leader whith her olo Magnamite Steelix Magnamite. Broke would get redondante if he is Steel too alongside Johto. Misty has Water/Ice = Lorelei ... So no. So Next !

If he goes into ground, for the Johto remakes, he can put Swampert on his team which would also add a water type.
