Uh, I know how to understand the 5 books of Moses! They form the foundation of a bronze age belief system and the backward archaic way of thinking shows in the misogyny, racism and barbarism and in the views and values expressed in that horrid book. Religions are a con and it never ceases to amaze me how people like you, can say - with a straight face - the sentence: "If you obey, that's choosing life, if you choose to disobey that's choosing death, that's choosing consequences and curses" and not see the clear and open manipulation being practiced here. Like ... are you serious? Six year olds can see through that. I'm so sorry you have been brainwashed by your parents (presumably) and I hope you think about your reasons for belief. Have the courage of taking a step back, admitting to yourself that you could be wrong (and if you don't think you could be wrong (not trying to accuse you of that, it's just ... you know ... religious people do that), then I'm afraid the level of arrogance is so overwhelming that talking to you anymore would be a waste of time) and re-evaluate your reasons for your god belief and see if they are any better than those of other religions. And PLEASE don't just look at sources of people who already believe the same things you do. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you find a way out of your delusions.
