Well,a really cool car promo in the 1980s. the R31 was targeted for younger car guys so they wanted to make an ad that would excite you in pretty much every way,the engine revs(cut out in this video),the looks and fancy cool features,and of course,one of the most important ones...The sound design.

There is a striking resemblance between the Eurobeat, Back on the Rocks, and this promotional music, Bach on the Rocks, for the R31.
that is because "back on the rocks" uses the beginning of the original classical version of this song sampled as the beginning

The pitch is different as well as the speed of the song, but it's much more than being just sampled as the beginning. Just based off of that, I'm going to takr a presumption that there was a lot of inspiration from the R31 promotional music put into the Eurobeat. I'd recommend listening to both, Back on the Rocks and Bach on the Rocks, side-by-side. A lot of people may say that "Back on the Rocks", by Mega NRG Man is only inspired by Dracula's theme, "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Bach. However, I believe that is not entirely true. I believe that "Back On The Rocks" is also inspired by "Bach On The Rocks" in which it was a track used for an advertvert for the '87 Nissan Skyline GTS-R R31. I believe that it's the utmost most iconic themes in the GT-R brand. Thus, I believe that "Back On The Rocks" by Mega NRG Man is played for every GT-R ever encountered in Initial D because it's iconic to the GT-R brand just like "Bach On The Rocks".
