Wild camping and discovering a hidden waterfall
For this wild camping adventure, we headed about four hours outside of Kelowna to Kinbasket lake. We set up our site on a wide, secluded part of the beach with lake access, where we enjoyed some cooking, relaxing and paddle boarding. The following morning we headed to Revelstoke, and continued our paddle boarding adventure at Revelstoke lake, where we enjoyed the sunny weather and stunning, rocky mountain views. We were also lucky to discover a hidden waterfall surrounded by raw, untouched landscape. Enjoy the views!

Thanks, I live just down the hill, but have never went up. Unfortunately it was never a thriving vineyard though... I know they planted some vines without any irrigation, presumably to comply with agri-tourism zoning or something. At one point Ross Rebagliati was even involved, but it seems to have been dead for a while.

Dang man, how does someone leave a fire burning, especially THERE. That fire was scary AF. We had soo many people evacuate up here. Flew over it when came back from Calgary in September and to see the devastation from the air was heartbreaking. Awesome trail though, cool that you got to check out a mine.

The only time we’ve used the red one is to remove the hook when the fish has swallowed it. It allows you to back the hook out, then it slips into the tip recess, and allows for smooth extraction. Some guys keep the long nose forceps handy for that too, especially with salmon and pike. 🤙

Great on camera personality, nice video! I spent winter of 22 living in an off grid RV above Powell River, I miss that so much right now I have no snow in Nova Scotia yet. One day we got snowed in deep and couldn't get the RV back out to town for resupply, even with my v8 4runner on duratracs. Then it warmed up and got so icy I had to use chains on the 4Runner to get to town for food and propane, and leave the RV there until the road thawed out a couple weeks later. I don't go anywhere without v-bar chains now!

Pretty nice...I wonder how you deal with all those wet days. The scenery is pretty nice there but are there limited dispersed camping spots in Canada? I was just researching around Banff and all that and there aren't the numerous forest roads there like we have in the National Forests in America.

So in BC 94% of land is considered crown land and open to public use, loads of FSR roads with spread out camp sites almost everywhere. For this reason I moved from Ontario to BC and it was well worth it! For the rest of Canada, I'm genuinely not sure how many camping spots there are.
