It's certainly usable, however 8GB of ram is better if you want to game and multitask efficiently.

You'd have to set it to record mic sounds as well.

See, when purchasing a device, purchase a device with higher physical ram, the most important part of a device is the processor, once that is settled then you can worry about ram. Virtual ram show be the last of your worries.

@@NamsoBrown Redmi phones are okay, honestly smartphones have come a long way, you'd be content with a variety of smartphones released nowadays, but might I ask what Redmi phone it is and what you intend on doing, are you a gamer? Do you care about camera quality? Stuff like that.

Hmmm I would say a minimum of 2 and if you are very good with your phone then even 3 years, the only issue that might arise is the fact that it might not be using the latest Android version, but does everyone care about that? Probably not, so yes 3 years is what I'd say is the sweet spot, as after that you'd start to notice degradation in the battery.

At the time when it launched, I got it for NGN 50k but now it's over 100k, and the issue right now is that it's currently not even available, if you find it online it will be at exorbitant prices, last time I checked it was around 165k

Yes the Redmi 12C is capable of running PUBG Mobile be it not at the highest settings.

I wouldn't still recommend it to be honest, streaming and then playing a game consumes a lot of resources, this device be it meant for gaming, it isn't as good as a proper gaming phone that can handle multiple intense activities at once. If you want to do something of that nature please look elsewhere.
